          Chalk does not write well on chalkboard; actually it scratched the chalkboard. This chalk might be okay outside on the sidewalk. We purchased it for our 2 year old due to the triangular design, but we should have just gone with traditional sidewalk chalk.

                          We bought these for the fun bright colors. However they don't write easily on a chalk board and the eraser does not erase them very well. Basic sidewalk chalk works much better.
