The first two helments sent were defective, the visor didn't stay down and the 'pin' that attached the visor kept falling out. The third was finally the charm. It is expensive and not worth the money.

Bought this for our son for Halloween b/c it seems to literally be the only astronaut helmet available. He had played with it last year at a friend's house and loved it, despite the fact that the sound and automatic visor on his friend's helmet had stopped working. The button that raises the visor broke the first day he used it and he was not playing rough with it. It's huge and would fit an adult better than a preschooler. It has a pretty cool sounding countdown. Even though it broke, I would recommend it if you need an astronaut helmet because it fits the bill and young kids don't mind design flaws.

This product was not worth the money. It's plastic parts fell apart on the first day. It was a huge disappointment. The hardest thing is my 4 yo loved it despite the poor craftmanship. The point is it is not worth the money.

My boys loved these helmets for Halloween, and continue to play with them afterward. They got a lot of compliments at the local parade and loved the countdown to blast off.

Helmet is huge enough to fit a small adult and way overpriced for the quality of what you get. Almost returned it but my 3.5 year old loves playing with it even though the opening is so big it goes over his shoulders.
