I love the hippity hop! To put it simply, my son is very lively and has a ton of energy. We were looking for a way to keep him active since it is getting cold outside. We bought him an indoor bounce house and a hippity hop. The bounce house now lies deflated in our play room. The hippity hop, however, is still running upstairs. It's fun for all of us. My husband and I play with our son and we were exposed to just how uncoordinated we have become. So needless to say, this toy has helped our entire family stay active. Great toy! Great way to use some energy! Great way to do something as a family! I highly recommend the hippity hop to other families.

My 3.5 year old and 19 month old were immediately interested in trying to jump with this toy and really used a lot of mental and physical energy playing with it! It was small enough to fit in my living room for indoor play. I like how the speed and jump height is adjustable to grow with my kids. They like the music and if they miss a jump they aren't hit hard - there's no special noises or actions - it just keeps on gently moving so they are encouraged to just try again.

At first I thought it was broken. We put the batteries in and nothing happened. Finally, we found that pushing both the power and speed buttons at the same time made it start rotating. I'm not sure if that is the way it is supposed to work or if it's a glitch.
My daughter is three years old and is unable to jump over the poles, even at the slowest speed. It seems like it's for older children, even though it claims to be for 3+ years.
