Hinged Outlet Covers (set of 12)

Item #: 15372

The perfect outlet covers for frequently-used outlets! These twin plug protectors are attached, so when you're using half of a double outlet, the cap you've removed won't wander off. Bonus: because it's in plain view, it reminds you to replace it when you're done. The neutral color blends into any wall, so it won't draw your toddler's attention (or anyone else's for that matter).

Comments about The First Years Hinged Outlet Covers (set of 12):

I got these because I thought it would make it easier to get them out in a hurry for vacuuming and plugging in appliances etc. They are very hard to get out of the socket once they are in.

Comments about The First Years Hinged Outlet Covers (set of 12):

Great product! It is quite tight and hard to take out, but thats what makes it so safe! I also like that the two are attached that way when you remove one, its still there so you dont loose it. I bought different ones, but they were always floating around the house and getting lost. Because once you or your spouse take it out, to use the outlet, sometimes you or ur SPOUSE forget to put it back. I bought some for my moms house too! And some I keep in my suitcase for travel!

They jam into the socket and are impossible to pull back out when you need to access the outlet. I tore a nail trying to get it out. I won't be using them.

Comments about The First Years Hinged Outlet Covers (set of 12):

Don't waste your money- I'll be sending these back. The concept is great that you plug them in and can flip one side out to use the outlet...but, they are too tight going in the outlet and don't sit anywhere near flush with the wall so I worried my son would be able to pull them out...I tried pushing them in further but to pull it out of the outlet I had to use the back of a hammer and pry it out. Go with the full cover plates or the ones you screw in and push to the side to use the outlet.
