      My 2 1/2 yr old son saw this in your magazine and had to have it. He has played with it on and off. I liked that he could play with it around his 1 yr old sister and not have to worry about her eating them. I also liked that it came with its own carry case. I don't think he really understands or has the attention span yet to build any of samples provided. He does his own thing and does it easily with no assistance (so it is super easy for kids to assemble).

        My almost 3 year old is really getting into puzzles and he loves these. They are easy for him to put together and it holds his attention because he can do it himself. My 16 month old loves taking the pieces in and out of the box :) Great colors.

        These are called Hexie Snaps, but they don't acutally snap together. You have to actually lay them together so that the tiny "snaps" line up., but they don't snap or really attach to one another at all. They can't be picked up off the floor after being laid next to one another because they don't actually snap or stick together in any way. My 2 1/2 year old son was bored with them in about 3 minutes. This was surprising because he absolutely loves all kinds of blocks and anything that can be used to build. These were a major disappointment. I love One Step ahead, but these were the major bomb of the Christmas season.
