Harmony Breastpump

Item #: 09931

Feels more like baby than any other manual pump. This revolutionary Medela® pump is based on a new discovery: that breastfeeding is a two-stage process. Just like nursing, it employs an initial let-down phase (rapid sucking that triggers milk flow), followed automatically by a slower expression phase (deeper, slower sucking for maximum expressing). It's not only more efficient, it's more comfortable. Our mom-testers loved it. The ergonomic, swivel handle requires minimal exertion. Due to health reasons, we are unable to accept returns on any breastpumps, unless pump is defective (as verified by manufacturer), or package is unopened.

      Comments about Medela Harmony Breastpump:

My kiddo usually "drinks from the tap" but I use this when I want to leave milk with my husband or a sitter. I love that there's nothing to plug in and that it's easy to clean. It was perfect for a recent long car trip. I'd highly recommend for new mommas who aren't sure if they want to invest in a large pump.

Purchased to use while on vacation. I didn't want to pack my electric pump because it's too big. This manual pump works great for expressing milk while traveling.

        Comments about Medela Harmony Breastpump:

I've been using the Medela Pump in Style for a year but needed something smaller for work and travel to fit in my briefcase (am trying to pump into my son's second year). I researched the options and asked several lactation consultants. I like this pump. I can stick it and some milk storage bags into a small cooler sack and tuck it into my briefcase. As for pumping efficiency, I can get 5 oz. in 15 minutes - about the same as the PIS. I was surprised it doesn't tire my hands out. Hey, maybe it'll help me build some hand strength.
Has a weird leak that I haven't figured out yet.

        Comments about Medela Harmony Breastpump:

I bought this pump because I needed something more portable to pump enough milk for my daughter's cereal while we were on vacation. It was easy to use and my milk flowed quickly, but the suction was too strong for me and somewhat painful.

        Comments about Medela Harmony Breastpump:

I use this pump during the day while I'm at work. It's small and light enough to carry everyday without too much trouble. I use a Medela PIS at home, but wanted something more portable and quieter for work.

I love that it's so small it fits in my diaper bag. I don't like that my hands get tired, and that it can only be used on one side at a time. Another con is that the bottle will spill if (when attached to the pump), it is turned too far to the side.

        This hand-held pump is ...

        Comments about Medela Harmony Breastpump:

This hand-held pump is great for occasional use! I have the Medela electric pump as well, but don't use it as much anymore since my daughter is now eating more solid foods. I do still have to pump in the middle of the night, since she has recently dropped a night time feeding, and I love this pump because it is quiet, I don't need an outlet to plug it in to, and it's small enough to travel with. A great product!
