First saw this item at a fast food eatery and asked the mother where on earth she found the gummi mat. Of course, it was One Step Ahead. I find them to be very useful and protective with children. If they put food on the table it is going on the mat, and the mat is clean. Only our germs here. I am actually thinking of getting one for myself a grandmother of eight. I hate sitting down and not knowing if the table is clean or not. Great gift. Know it will be used all the time. Thanks for a great product.

The gummi mat serves its' purpose with helping little ones pick up food that is slippery. It's also nice for taking to restaurants when you don't want your child eating off of a grubby table or highchair.

One thing I've had a problem with is my son wanting to pick it up and flip it over...knocking his food on the floor. Since it doesn't fit well in his tray, it is easy for him to dislodge it. It works better right on the table itself.

I received the Gummi Mat as a gift. I have really loved this product. It rolls up for easy travel and washes up nicely. My guys do well with the textured side of the mat as it really does seem to help them with picking up their food.I also like the fact that it is made in the USA.

Even though this did not fit my grandsons high chair as it overlapped on the sides of the chair my daughter uses it on the table but not what we expected

Now that my 18 month old is in his booster at the table and not in a highchair, we needed something to protect our very expensive wood table. I was tired of having to wash our cloth place mats all the time. This works perfectly I just wish it was a little bigger so I could cover the table edge more from booster hitting it, sticky food that falls in the center where the notch is, banging the fork or cup.

When I purchased this gummi mat for my child I thought it would stay in place on the table more but it doesn't. It moves around to easily. But other than that the product is nice and very easy to clean.

I have another mat that is actually tacky on the bottom, and thought from the product description that this would be similar. It's not -- it's just a silicone mat, like a hot pot pad, and after being rolled up in my diaper bag, it did not lie flat on the table (much less stick to it). So the one time we used it, I spent the whole time with one hand holding it so baby wouldn't fling it off the table...not really convenient. ;-) Otherwise, I don't have any complaints...it's sturdy and washes easily in the dishwasher. Just don't expect it to stick to the table!

This is really a great item for beginner eaters who are learning to pick up food on a tray. Bananas and cereal are much easier to pick up and don't slide all around the high chair tray. I think it is also great for on the go as it is easy to roll up and put in a bag while it is also good for covering a dirty table that they are eating off of.

Only con is that we have the Peg Perego high chair and it is too wide for the top tray -- curls up a lit bit, but ok on the other tray below.
