I purchased this costume for my daughter for Halloween. I was nervous because she is tall and slim for a 4 year old, but the previous reviewers mentioned that it was snug around the bust even for slim fit. It fit my daughter perfectly in the size 6! The quality of this costume is excellent. It is made with good, sturdy material and the stitching is sturdy. The only thing I didn't care for is the plastic hoop that lines the bottom of the dress. It looks good as a costume, but makes it difficult to hand wash or sit in. Overall, it is a quality dress/hood for the money and she now uses it to play dress up!

I adored this costume, on my little girl. She loved it and looked beautiful. The one thing I would change is the Hood is held on the child with Velcro, it fell of a few times due to this. it would be more efficient if it tied on.

I ended up returning this costume because I thought it was overpriced for the quality. It was very cute but I thought the material would have been of higher quality for what I paid for it.

My 3 year old loves it! She is a very tall (98th percentile) and it is long on her so I am glad I got the smaller size! Sh won't be tripping while trick or treating

Thought it looked very cute and simple online!!! Perfect for my 5yr old. Got it in the mail and was a little disappointed the material is very think and they have a wire hola hoop looking thing under it to make it look fool but because the fabric was so thin it does lay right....would look much better with some Tull under laying instead....also the wire thing makes it look like its short.....other than that's it is cute and simple.....my daughter likes it but then again she doesn't look at quality but the excitement of getting to dress up.

I bought this for my 6 year old who is tall and thin. The size 6 barely fits her. I wish that this were offered in bigger sizes because I know she will want to use it for dress up but it isn't going to last her long. The dress is really cute and the cape is fabulous! With the cape it will be really easy to add a shirt underneath if it gets cold without ruining the costume at all! I would definitely recommend this costume and can't wait to see my little red riding hood and big bad wolf at Halloween!

Unusual to find a long Red Riding Hood costume, and my granddaughter only likes to dress up in the long costumes. This one is styled beautifully. Love the red velvet cape and the adorable patterned the dress.

I looked for awhile to find a costume that I felt was age appropriate for my 5 year old daughter. I found this one and she loved it so I ordered it. I was afraid it was going to be cheezy and ill made, but I was very surprised that it was well made with quality material. My daughter loved the cape as well. She is still wearing it around the house over almost all of her outfits.

This is an adorable costume. It is unique and different from the princess/fairy costumes adored by this age group. It is also warm and we will be able to put long johns underneath.

It is cut small, my daughter is a slim 4 year old (37 lbs) and the size 4 was too tight in the chest. We exchanged for a size 6 and it fits well through the body but is a tad too long. I'm going to hem it.

I got this costume for my Daughter as a change from the usual Princess costume we get every year. I got her 3 year old brother the wolf costume to go with it. They came in the mail and boy were we surprised! the quality is so much better than any costume we recieved from anywhere else. My Daughter loves the dress and says she feels like a princess when she puts it on. The dress and cape set are the most adorable red riding hood we have ever seen. so unique! she gets compliments when she wears it, and wants t wear it all the time..after Halloween we plan to add it to her ever-growing play closet full of dress up dresses! I think this will be her go to dress though for quite some time! it is an instant hit and she loves it! Cannot go wrong with this dress! would recommend this dress to anyone!

This costume was definately not worth that amount of money I paid. My daughter ususally does not fit into clothes her size (there too big)so I thought the size I ordered would be roomy enough to fit under clothes and it just fits. The cape doesn't even close, I had to pin it because there are 2 strings and part of a velcro on one side and nothing on the other.
