Comments about One Step Ahead Furniture Edge Cushions Brown:
Very easy to apply, the tape they give you sticks well & when my kid fell onto the fireplace hearth he didn't busy his head open! They also sell the corner guards which are also great!
Peace of mind

I used the edging on a couple of wooden steps with sharp edges because I was so scared my toddler would trip and hit his head on them in our playroom. These, along with the corner edge completely covered the sharp edges of the steps. I can now enjoy watching him play, instead of being scared he will fall!

"Off-White" edge cushions - really grey
By Amy J
from Chicago, IL
These edge cushions are just what I needed and wanted, but they are NOT off-white. I wanted them for a tan/light brown hearth and off-white would have been perfect. These are most definitely GREY! A light grey/stone color. They do the job...just be aware that you're not getting anything remotely off-white/beige at all. Going to use them on my granite countertop instead.
Very Disappointing
By Edson's Mom

I have bought this guard twice - because I so wanted it to work. I have a gorgeous glass oblong coffee table and needed bumper to cover edges from my 13 month old boy. This is such a great product in theory (long length and flexible to fit any shape) but it just doesn't work. The first time I put it on - it lasted about 4 weeks until the tape started failing and my son could easily remove it. The second time it lasted 4 hours until it started peeling. The biggest flaw is the tape - which you have to apply yourself and just doesn't cover enough of the undersurface to give a good lasting hold. I hope they redesign this one because it could be good but for not - don't bother.
Hard to cut and install
By 3 Dogs and a Baby

I bought this to use on the corners of walls. I found it very hard to cut the pieces straight (since I needed to make 5 pieces out of the 12 feet), so they are jagged from my attempts. You can't use scissors to cut it- I needed to use an exacto knife. The tape also doesn't go from edge to edge, so after I installed it portions of the cushioning aren't stuck to the wall. My 9 month old tries to pull it off. It was hard to line up the cushioning on the edge of the wall so it's not very straight. The 3M tape that was included is much stickier than what was in the package, but I think they included only exactly enough for the 12 feet, and on some parts that were coming off the wall I used another piece, so I didn't have enough tape for the whole roll of cushioning. On a positive note, I do feel much safer when my daughter is crawling around near the corners of walls.
cushions well, won't stick

it went on well, but, after a very short time the tape failed and it started coming off. But, it does cushion well.
Not worth the money

About Me Parent of Multiples (Twins etc)
We used the product around two dangerous coffee tables in the living room that we didn't want to remove when the twins started walking. The product had double sided tape to stick to the furniture and then the cushion pieces stuck to that. The pieces have fallen off numerous times as soon as the day after we Installed. The tape is no longer sticky, so the product can't be used. We even tried to use more sticky tape, but are having the same problems. Our 1 year old twins have successfully mastered pulling the cushion off the tables too. Not very sturdy for long term use.
