    Purchased this for my 23 month old son. It is cute and he enjoys pushing the button and watching the kitty's eye change colors. There is a feature where you can roll the kitty and make the eyes light up. This requires grabbing the kitty by the tail and tilting her up at the right angle to engage the wheel. The wheel has some resistance, adding to the challenge. My son gets frustrated trying to roll the kitty, so he doesn't play with it much. He may enjoy it more when he is a bit older.

      I bought this for my 3yr. old daughter(who LOVES cats!) for our camping trip and she loved it! It changes colors and then can flash colors too. She carries it around at nights and can turn it off and on by herself. Got it on sale which was even better! But I def. would have bought it at full price too:) The eyes light up brighter than I would have expected.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
