Our 4 yr old was pushing himself away from the table on one of our regular chairs. Sometimes that chair would tip. This chair will not budge. He is in the chair and its not moving. He can get up and down from it, but we need to pull it out from the table.

I am using this great chair for my 3 yr son. Its really hard for him to sit on the "grown up" chairs without climbing on the table. I have a similar chair that I used for my middle child and have LOVED IT !! He is 6 yrs old now and I got it when he was 2 yrs old. The one thing that I wish the sit was a little longer.
ITS a great chair !!

I purchased this chair for my 4 year old daughter; she has a difficult time sitting still and does not sit well unless her feet are supported (as with most people). The chair assembled easily and cleans nicely. I was able to position the foot rest for an optimum sitting position: hips and knees at 90 degrees. The problem with this chair is that the seat is too high (for children and adults). This chair is made for both adults and children, however with the seat up so high (you are not supposed to lower the seat height as per the directions), you have to bend over to eat or to work at the table (or desk). Compared to other therapeutic seating, the price of this chair is affordable, however the chair would be better if the seat height was lower (in better proportion to a table or desk height) or was adjustable. It may work well with a bar-height table.

This is the second chair I have purchased. The first one is almost four years old and is used every day. I am disappointed that the cushion for the back of the chair and the cover for the seat cushion are no longer available. I will need to find a seamstress to cover the seat cushion. It's a great chair.

The colour of the chair isn't half as nice as it looks on the picture. It doesn't look like wood, but like cheap black paint on hardboard ( which it is). The paint peels off very easily when you adjust the chair (which defeats the whole purpose of it). The design is fine, but the material is really disappointing, and I now regret not having spend a little more to buy a ' real' one.

We have the current version of this chair and one from six years ago. I do not believe the current product is strong enough to hold 250 lb. I weigh 110 lbs and that seems O.K. When I weighed 125 lbs. the chair would really creak if I sat on it. I am afraid if I use this chair as a step stool it will break. The product 6 years ago was much sturdier. I have no problems using it as a step stool and a 180 lb friend sat on it. I love how the kids can sit properly at the table without their feet dangling or sitting on their legs. I think this promotes good table manners and posture. I also like how it is adjustable. I am sad the quality has really diminished.

We had an older version of the chair for my son. Now that my daughter is eating at the table, I decided to purchase another version. However, I have two issues with this chair: 1. the espresso color is basically black and does not match the previous dark brown of the older version. It is an issue that the two chairs I have now don't match, but I can get over that. 2. What really annoyed me is the large yellow sticker on the back of the chair. It was way too distracting to leave on at my breakfast room table (think taxi cab yellow on a black chair). Therefore, I decided to remove it, which was not easy. I had to pick it off little piece by little piece, which in turn chipped a piece of the wood off. This was aggravating given the fact that I just paid a significant amount of money for a new chair, which now has a chip. While I understand the need for the yellow sticker (safety warning), I would have much preferred either a less noticeable placement or an easier to remove sticker. I love the chair but had BIG issues with the delivery/end result.

Assembly directions are very vague. One of the support boards is impossible to install because all of the bolts are the same length and in order to reach the screw plugs 2 of the bolts need to be a half inch longer. You basically have to loosen up one entire side if the chair to adjust the seat and step heights. There is def something better out there, keep looking. This chair is no where near worth what we paid for it.

The design of the chair is fantastic and it is very comfortable. My kids use their chairs to eat and do activities at our dining table and they move them to use the computer desk. They are at the correct height to feel secure and are better able to use utensils, hold writing implements etc because they're not worrying about toppling off the chair. Our only disappointment is that the finish chips and cracks easily so we have had to put felt strips on the spots that get knocked often.

This is a great chair. Because it adjusts it really does grow with your child. this is my second, i purchased the first one 1 1/2 years ago for my son who is now 4. my daughter (2) loved it so much i just got her one. they have made some wonderful imporvements. the steat is more durable and covered in a heavy plastic that is easy to clean. it is a little bigger then before too. i love that their feet rest on the base while sitting. that really is the best and most comfortable way to sit. this will really grow with them. I find it very comfortable too! When we removed the high chair we pushed these up to the table and they are now just part of our dining set. A really great product at a great price!

We are using this for a 2 year old to eat and a 5 year old to practice handwriting with proper height and posture. Liking it so much we are planning to get a second. The only con was that the assembly instructions did not quite match the parts we got, but we figured it out.

This is the 4th chair I have bought. I use them in 2 different houses. We get Lots of use out of the chairs. I have 2 negatives with the last 2 chairs purchased. The seat cover and back cushion is no longer available. Those made it look nicer and was more comfortable for the kids. I also do not like the foam grips on the feet. It makes it impossible for my 4yr old to push/pull herself in and out without assistance, and is actually dangerous. In trying she almost flipped the chair backwards.

This has given our toddler so much indepedence. He loves feeling like a big kid at the table and not being strapped into a high chair. He's able to climb into his own chair for snacks or meals which is a wonderful break for a momma's back. The only disappointment is that the finish on the espresso chair seem to chip and come off too easily.

This is a great high chair for toddlers. It allows them to sit at the table with the rest of the family. This is actually the second Euro Grow With Me Chair that I've bought. I had to buy a second one since my two grandsons fought over who was going to sit in the first one.
