This toy is adorable. I just wish the personalization was either on the t-shirt from or on the from of the jacket. The hood hides it on the back.

These dolls are very cute, and I love that one of them is a boy (we have b/g twins, and received both the boy and girl dolls as gifts). Because they were a gift, I will be keeping them. However, I would not recommend them because the features are too difficult to use, thus making them fairly useless as a learning tool.

My boys had Dapper Dan years ago. The quality of this doll didn't seem as good.. However, to the credit of your company, although there was a mistake on the inscription of the doll's skirt,Your company was very helpful & eager to correct the error. Amazingly, so quick (within a couple of days..a new skirt!). That was a pleasant surprise at this time of the year.

I found this child oriented product hard to utilize as a "learn to dress" tool. The clothers were very difficult to take on and off. The snaps, zipper, etc were hard to use for an adult, let alone a child.

I LOVE this doll! My daughter has Down Syndrome and just turned ONE! We purchased this for her first birthday! I love how we were able to personalize it and add her name to it. The more places we can place her name, the quicker she will be able to eventually recognize and spell it in the future! My two older girls love this doll too (ages 4&6). Her "linguini hair" is adorable. The zippers, buckles, buttons etc., are wonderful for teaching those fine motor self help skills that all young children need to learn. I also love that you can purchase a boy or a girl. I grew up with a Dapper Dan and several parents on the special needs forums have asked about a similar doll and I have directed them to this site. The only con is that the face collects lint from the carpet really easily....granted....maybe I need to vacuum more! Ha ha ha! Overall....this is an awesome toy!

My 18 month daughter immediately grabbed this doll and hugged it. She loves all the buttons and zippers. I also bought this for my niece that is about the same age. My only complaint is not about the product but about the personalizing. I received 2 dolls. The order form was in the package with both the girl's names highlighted and the color I wanted the stitching. The names are correct, however, the color of stitching was not. I was disappointed, considering it was highlighted on the form as if they checked it. The dolls were not dressed when they arrived either. I did not call the company, but to me it looked like they did not take the time to redress them after personalizing each.

My 2 year-old son loves "his baby" that we gave him for his birthday. He likes to undress him and feed him. He hasn't spent much time with the buckles, snaps, etc, but he does like to zip and unzip the jacket. The shorts, shoes, and jacket can all be removed which leave him wearing an undershirt, undershorts, cap, and socks. It does tend to get fuzz on the face and hands, but its not a big issue. If it were to be stained though I don't think it will be easy to get clean. Overall, I'm glad we got this for him, he really enjoys it.

There really isn't much I can say about this doll yet as it is a gift for our daughter's upcoming 1st Christmas. The doll itself is very cute and will be very useful when trying to teach your child how to dress them self. I hope that she will like it and will learn from it.
