    My 2.5 year old son loves it. It keeps him busy while I make dinner. The only thing I help him with is switching the drill to reverse when he wants to remove the bolts. The storage of the pieces within toy is a bit tight but it works. This toy will grow with my son as he can learn to do color patterns that come with the drill set.

    The portableness of this product is great! We only give a few bolts at any one time to keep from losing them all. Great product overall, however, the battery compartment was a ROYAL pain to open. Being that the screws are way down deep in a tiny hole you will need an extra small screwdriver with a Phillips head and a strong hand to turn it with. These screws were so tightly screwed in that it caused painful blisters on my hand just to insert batteries???? WHY so tight?

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    We bought this for our 2 yr old son who loves helping fix things! He enjoys using tools. This is a way for him to have his very own tool. He spends a good deal of time playing with it on his own. This toy is very easy for him to use and it does challenge him by giving him different bits to change out and when he gets a bit older he can create the designs they include. I got this because he does not travel well on a plane and I am hoping to take it with us to use. However I am very concerned with how loud the screwdriver is. I am trying to weight if the other passengers want to hear him fuss and cry or the buzzing noise of this toy! I know other parents have mention there are lots of pieces however we only use between 5 and 10 screws at a time. Everything fits very nicely in the carrying case.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      My special needs son has a very difficult time with this toy. He would rather just put the screws in with his fingers than use the drill. His therapist have tried to get him to use the drill, but he doesn't like the loud noise it makes. This toy wouldn't be good for travel because it has too many pieces.
