Love this car seat. We will only use the air protect car seat for the safety. The only con is that it's a little wide and you have to reach under a little to click the seat belts next to it. But it is worth it for the many pros! Go to safety 1st website and they have a video on the safety of the car seat. It definitely sold me. I love onestepahead for its ease of use, great competitive pricing and products you can't find in a store.

I bought this seat for my 1 year old son after he grew out of his infant seat. We LOVE it!!! It's easy to use. He's comfortable in it and I love how it reclines so he can still nap comfortably if needed. We are using it rear-facing in my Toyota highlander and it fits great even slightly reclined. We purchased a saftey 1st alpha omega elite seat for my older daughter a few years ago and we love that seat too but this one has a few more features that make life a little easier. The latches for the in-car anchors are way better designed and easier to use on this one and the comfort of the padding seems to be better as well. Also the head "flaps" are filled with air to help with head or neck injury during a crash.

My ONLY complaint is that I cannot even catch a glimpse of my baby when I'm sitting in the front passenger side (to see if sleeping or drowsy). The bulky sides--which are the reason for it being so safe--are the culprit.

And, this stage of car seats are incredibly bulky and cumbersome to move ( I guess ONLY is not quite accurate). This one is the easiest I have ever installed, but still the thought of transferring it to a different car is enough to persuade me to just drive my own car.

Overall, I love it.

Installed Rear-Facing in a 1999 Honda Odyssey (one very thick rolled towel required to get the proper recline)

Our first priority was to find a car seat that was safe but we were also hoping for one that didn't look tacky! This new seat from Safety 1st is perfect. It has side impact protection and this particular model reclines so that my son is very comfortable in the seat. We bought one for each vehicle and the Grey/black color looks great in our grey interiors. Only con is my husband said these were difficult to install reclined, rear facing with the latch system.

My husband and I just purchased this car seat for our 1 year old son. He has outgrown his infant seat and we like having a car seat in each car. My son is not a big fan of his Britax Boulevard (though my hubby and I love it) in our Camry and that particular seat doesn't fit so well in my much smaller 2 door cobalt. the safety first seat fits my little car VERY WELL, I tied the seat down with the tether system in my car and it is VERY secure. My son also appears to be more comfortable in this seat. I chose it because of the safety feature of the air pads on either side of the child's head. We haven not had this seat but for a week so as to durability and ease of cleaning, I do not know yet. Very easy to install in the car!
