Comments about The First Years Close & Secure Sleeper:

I bought it before my baby was born and used this co-sleeper until he was 6 months, then he was ready to sleep in my bed without it! Ir was the ONLY CRIB I actually needed to buy! He slept in it during the night and also during the day! I felt so safe that my baby is sleeping right next to me!!! Perfect for a great breastfeeding relationship!!! Never used a big crib actually, I wish I would not buy it.. just spent money! My baby slept all his life on my bed, first in this wonderful co-sleeper, then on his own! And we both are really happy!!!! :)) breastfeeding is going GREAT!!!

Comments about The First Years Close & Secure Sleeper:

We used this until my baby grew out of it. About 6 months, but she was a big baby. I was so scared of SIDS and couldn't bare putting her in a crib. I could constantly check on her ( Nighlight is perfect) and it was sturdy to where we could not roll over her or fear sufficating her. If I get preggers again will buy another one for sure! Only cons. The mattress was a little too soft. Babies should be on a flat surface and on their backs. She didn't sink in but it should be a little more firmer.

I love this cosleeper. It allows you to be close to your baby while not having them attached to you the whole night. It gives the baby her own space within our bed. The only problem is that she is 3 months and is already growing too long for it. I am looking for another one that she will fit in for the next year.

My daughter slept so peaceful. I used this everywhere. I used it in her co-sleeper for added comfort. Having the light was great to check on her. Great to have when you travel. the only con I have is that the corners of the mattress by the head area started to fold upwards. But she did get alot of use with it prior to that.

I love it! I use it just like a bassenet as it is light and can be taken everywhere. The only drawback for me is I wish it was a little bit longer so my baby could use it as she is about to grow out of it. That's how much I love it!

I'm a fan of co-sleeping. My first son slept with us and now my second is. I wish I would have had this with my first. It has eliminated a lot of stress that goes hand in hand with co-sleeping. It is well constructed, I've put it in the washing machine a few times already. My one and only complaint is that my son is 12 weeks old and very close to being too long for it, there is about an inch of room remaining.

We didn't use this to co-sleep. My son didn't like how big his crib was when he came home from the hospital and I didn't buy a bassinet. It took me a few nights to realize what why he would sleep on me but as soon as I put in down in his crib he would wake up screaming. I got this and put it in his crib and it worked like a charm. He was 20 inches long when he was born and he used it until he was about 3 months old. If you go the the manuafacturer's website you can order extra sheets.

Comments about The First Years Close & Secure Sleeper:

We bought this for our infant because we are co-sleepers and she sleeps in the middle of our king sized bed on firm pillows. We thought this would be better, but it's too small for her already - she is 3 months old and is already 25 1/2 inches long and this is too short for her. If you have a small baby or preemie, then this is a great product.

Comments about The First Years Close & Secure Sleeper:

I co-slept with my other two children years ago and never worried about rolling on them. This time around I decided that I needed to play it safe since I work more hours and am just exhausted when I ultimately make it to bed. This co-sleeper is perfect. It is well made and makes a safe and sturdy boundary between you and your baby. My husband and I have a queen size bed and there is just enough room with this co-sleeper for the three of us. If you like more tossing and turning space or have to sprawl yourself out then a king bed would be ideal. Overall we love that we can sleep next to the baby but still have safe boundaries while doing so.

Comments about The First Years Close & Secure Sleeper:

It's a nice concept having my new baby within reach at night, but this co-sleeper made me more nervous. The mesh sides were too soft and collapsed, my daughter slid down while sleeping in it, and it's really small. I was only able to use it for 2 weeks before she didn't have room anymore. The only reason I could use it that long was because we swaddled her to sleep!

Comments about The First Years Close & Secure Sleeper:

We bought this for our second child. He was extremely needy. He had to be near us all the time. I was reluctant to have something like this because I was not a fan of co-sleeping but our second son left us no other choice and we had tried just about everything. This really was a saving grace for us and just wish it could have been a little bit bigger to last a little bit longer. Lasted approximately 2 1/2 months but definitely worth it.

It was so nice to be able to safely keep our son in bed with us. I never worried about rolling over on top of him. He outgrew the sleeper at 6 weeks, being a large baby. He also managed to squirm down to the bottom and kick his legs out of the side, but he seemed comfortable with his feet on Daddy's arm. I highly recommend this for some great bonding time with baby!
