I use this product on all knobs of my stove. And, it works great. When my daughter grabs the knob, the knob spins around the actual stove knob. Therefore, my daughter can not turn on the stove. This is a wonderful product that I would recommend to every parent.

We had a close call with someone leaving the gas stove on....not turning it off all the way. These caps are great and prevent little fingers from touching the knobs and helps remind parents to double check. They're a creative design and really work! Installation is easy....just pull off knob, insert knob (the knob holds it in place) and snap shut. No sticky tape or anything.

This is installed by removing the knob, putting the guard on, and then replacing the knob. We have the type of stove where you have to push the knob in and turn at the same time to turn it on. With this guard on, we could not push the knob in, so we had to remove it to turn the stove on. In addition, it caught our son's attention and when he grabbed it, he would pull the knob and all off, so it didn't work out for us. Good quality though.

Unfortunately these do not fit Viking range knobs, and I was unable to tell this based on the description and measurements or I would not have ordered them. I am not returning them because it will cost as much to ship them back as it cost to purchase them!

They were very easy to put on, but they were also very easy to get off. I only had them on for one day and my 2 year old was already opening them trying to turn the knobs. I would not reccomend them at all!

My daughter's reach is getting higher and higher and we have a gas stove... she loves reaching up for the knobs, so I was very glad when this product arrived. I installed the covers myself and had no problems at all. My daughter can reach up and I don't have to worry about her being able to turn them on. I am very glad I bought this product!

I actually purchased these because of my cat. Twice we came home and a burner to our stove was either on or just turned enough so that gas was coming out. Now that we have these covers on we haven't had any more problems.

This is a great idea! I would definitely recommend them. However for those of you that find them not working, the other solution which is totally free (suggested to us by our social worker upon her inspection of our home for foster kids)is to simply remove the knobs and only put them on when you are actually there cooking on the stove. Good luck to all of you.

Would this product work for putting over a door knob? I'm not interested in the safety factor. I just need something to cushion a door knob from hitting a cabinet.

  Thank you for your interest in our products. To install this item, you remove the knobs from your stove control posts. You open the Stove Knob coverand place it over the stove post, then replacing the stove knob over the post. Close the clear cover of the Stove Knob Cover until you hear a "click" of the latch tab.
