Bought these for 2 yr old who wanted to use a metal fork like us and they work great. She can eat easily now with the lighter, shorter fork. We use the spoon too. The knife, we haven't had much use for yet. The price kept us from buying more than a couple sets but they seem like they will hold up through multiple children. Will probably invest in more in the future as we use them at every meal.

The knife is heavy enough but not to heavy that my 2 year old can practice cutting. All the other sets either don't have knives or they are to light weight for her to cut with them. She likes that they look like her parent's silverware.

Our 2 year old grandson is always trying to use our large silverware, he loves this....thinks he is a big boy. Fits very well in his hand. I would recommend this for any child who is independent and eats by himself.

I bought this flatware set for my 2yr old grand-baby. He has outgrown the plastic tableware and was too young for adult flatware. Perfect sizing and he can pick up food with the fork and cut some foods with the knife. The spoon is also a good size and easy to use.

I bought both sets. The traditional ones are more like everyday silverware than the contemporary ones are. But both are nice. My son is 2 and uses them easily.

I debated for a while before ordering this because it's a bit pricey for three small utensils. Finally I ordered it and they are absolutely perfect for little hands. My daughter has a much easier time eating and is a lot less messy. With large utensils, it's akward for her and she tends to get frustrated and use her fingers instead. Now she has no trouble at all.

They are very light-weight but sturdy and good quality. I would definitely recommend this set. I give it a 4 star only because of the price.

I love and trust a lot of the products from One Step Ahead and this cute set didn't disappoint. My son feels like such a big kid when using them! Sometimes he likes his more child-like silverware, but, when other adults or older children are at the table he feels as if he fits right in!

Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I purchased these early and my 14 month old is still too young to use. I think they are a good size and weight and will certainly stand up to abuse and dishwashing, from what I can tell.

These are great because he feels like he is using the utensils that we are using. It helps bridge the gap because he doesn't wan his colorful baby utensils but our adult utensils are too large for him to hold. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because I feel the price is high for a three piece set.
