The blade is more like a plain dull piece of metal and will not cut. Even my husband could not get it to cut an apple!!!

I bought this product thinking it would make meal times easier and also portable to bring with us to restaurants but was sadly dissapointed. It is fairly hard to cut with, the food gets trapped in the squares and then you have to try to poke it back through and try cutting again only to have the food get stuck in the holes again. Very frustrating. Haven't even tried the apple slicer part of it yet since the square dicer didn't work well at all. Was more trouble than it's worth. Better to get a baby food processor.

The apple corer and slicer works well enough, except that getting to the bottom of the apple requires some real effort. The other dice thingy is useless. The area is really, really small and I find that it takes longer to use that piece then to dice it myself. So, if you want to pay [$] for an apple slicer/corer, this will do.

It's great for the apple slices but for the apple dices, it doesn't cut through hard enough. So the dices don't come through and I have to take a knife and poke them through.

This device has saved me so much time when fixing a snack for my 1-year old daughter. It chops food to the perfect size quickly and easily, and I can take it with me! It's a little difficult to clean depending on what you're chopping up, but I love it!

You cannot use this for every fruit, but for apples, mango, piers or cheese it is a great slicer or you can make cubes. This is the 10 second snack maker.

This really cuts down on time otherwise spent slicing and/or coring apples and pears. However, I find myself being more cognizant at the grocery store about the size of the fruit I buy, because larger apples, for example, do not fit in the slicer. The cube cutter is also small and fairly useless. For these reasons, I can't give the product more than 3 stars, but my son LOVES fruit so much that I would buy it again just for the slicer.

I was disappointed in the apple slicer. It is very awkward to push down and takes a lot of muscle. The blades must not be very sharp and it was hard to get through the apples. Once it did cut, I had to go back and cut off all of the core material that didn't fit into the core blade shaft. It would have been almost as fast to just use a sharp knife and cut the wedges myself.

I purchased this product thinking that the interchangeable blades would provide more uses for the slicer. It does, but I'm disappointed in the execution. While it's very easy to use and to slice fruits, vegetables, etc., I find it very difficult to get the food out of the slicer (especially the "cube" insert). I think this is due, in part, to the fact that the blades are not flush with the bottom of the slicer. It's quick to slice, but takes time to get the food out. The apple corer has some of the same problem, but is much easier to use.
