I almost returned these (size 4, 12 mo.) because the toe area is SO wide. They kind of look like clown shoes! But they were not expensive and I do like that the soles are flexible, so I'll keep them. Also, my daughter's feet get pretty hot in these, so they won't work well for summer.

These are the best shoes ever. Both my grandchildre now own 2 pair of these remarkable shoes. No shoelaces to keep tied, they don't come off and they offer great support and traction. If you haven't tried these, you need to!

Until we found Skidders, my daughter would NOT keep shoes on, she wouldn't even put her feet on the ground with shoes on! She LOVES them, and we get complemented every time we are out and about. We just went up a size (to a 6). We made sure we have 2 pair because they make her feet sweat and we alternate days so they don't smell as much (we live in Texas so her feet will sweat no matter what). I love that you can wash them and they held up well! I just wish there were more styles available in stores here.

I really like the look of the skidders, however they just didn't work for my 11 month old son who is walking. I wanted this to be a transition "shoe" until he was ready for the real deal but they are very bulky. The front of them were very wide, wider than the rest of the fit, so they were just awkward. They might work for some kids but just didn't work well for my son.

Our son started walking around 10 months old. As he started to get more steady on his feet and adventure a bit more we bought those.
The shoes were a bit big to start with, but with socks in them it was OK.
He LOVES them.
He is now 18 months and it is time to order the next size up. They are now a bit small and he wore them out after 8 months of daily use.
They went in the washing machine a few times with no problems.
When we are out, everyone asked were we got those.

I was looking for something for my son to wear in our home rather than being barefoot and I loved the concept of these but since my son has chunky feet it was hard to find the appropriate size/fitting for him. I ordered various sizes but ended up having to return them because they were either too big or too tight :(

My son lived in these when he was younger.
They were sturdy, comfortable. This was my 3rd pair (size 4) and their horrible! They are bulky and look almost deformed and he cant walk in them. I was so disappointed! I cant stress enough though--I LOVED these in the smaller sizes but the larger size are way to clunky. I would recommend smaller sizes only

I really wanted these shoes to be great for our harwood floor and a 11mnth old learning to walk. I havn't washed them yeat and they appear to be falling apart. I dont like the insoles that are just rubber it makes his feet sweat and they slide off his feet. They are OK but definalty not worth the price

Overall I am very pleased with these skidders. The biggest problem I have with them is the sizing. I have discovered after ordering several things from this site that every size chart they have runs extremely big. I have twin 2 year old boys, one wears a 6.5 medium shoe and one wears a 7.5 wide shoe. According to the one step ahead size chart they measured for the 3T. When we got them they were enormous on them! They looked like clown shoes. I called customer service and they could not have been nicer. They sent me a return shipping label and put in an order for the next size down. Well, when my new order came they accidentally sent me one 18 month. It turns out that the 24 month fits my son with the 7.5 wide shoe perfectly. The 18 month was too small for my other son and the 24 month is a little big so he is right in between the two. I finally ended up getting 2 24 month pairs and they both really like them. Neither one of them keep shoes on very long, and they both keep these skidders on for a fairly long time which is good in cold weather and for our wood floors. They definitely keep them from slipping like they do in regular socks. The rubber soles do have a strong odor but not bad enough to keep me from buying them again. I actually ended up keeping the 3Ts for when they grow out of the 24 months. I would recommend this product but I would just not recommend the size chart – go by your child's shoe size and not the size chart on this site.

The toes curl up. Makes it a little difficult to walk but my daughter's only 9 months so she still a little unsteady while crusing. We will continue to try this product.

I was looking to get sort of slipper that has good sole & is comfy for my toddler to wear indoors & easy for me to put on..

Was suprised when got it- the minute I put them on- my 21 month old started running around the house with them- apparently they are much more comfortable on her than her regular pair of shoes.. ( which were much more expensive..)

Wherever I go- people comment- oh! these are soo cute- whered you get them??

I would definitely suggest anyone with toddler try this one,

These make wonderful slippers. They go on easily, stay on, are warm, and do not slip on wood floors. They keep little one's feet warm and cozy, and they are comfortable for them to wear. Besides, they are so darn cute on their feet:)
