Great for sensory development and baby massages! Little ones find endless ways to play with these squishy, textured balls, which boost tactile awareness and motor skills. Besides squeezing them, our baby tester loved rolling on them, giving herself a tickly tummy workout! Especially beneficial for kids who need extra sensory stimulation. Grasp, toss, giggle, grow! For newborns and up. See Product Details

Comments about Edushape Baby Sensory Development Balls 4-Pack:
My granddaughter is a special needs child and cannot walk as yet at age 2. She constantly rolls these balls with her feet and legs and even picks one up between them. Wonderful therapy for her. She can hold them and we are working on rolling back and forth. We love them.

Great toy

My 8-month old used to play with similar toys at day care. When I decided to stay at home with my kids, I ordered these for him. He still loves them. Now that he's moving around, he pushes them along and crawls after them - a great way to keep him moving!
Interesting twist on standard baby ball

About Me First Time Parent
My 6 month old finds these balls easier to hold onto than smooth ones, and he enjoys testing the texture with his tongue. Some reviewers have written that they are very bouncy, but I don't find that to be the case with mine- perhaps they are a little flat. In any case, they're interesting and indeed provide an unusual, enriched sensory experience for babies, who are usually only exposed to soft, smooth materials. I look forward to the new ways by baby will play with these as he gets older!
my baby loves it

I wish they come in one or two in a box. You don't really need 4 same balls for one kid.
What a hit!

Our baby is now 9 months old and we realized about a month ago that she had no balls to play with! I saw these and decided to try them out. She LOVES them! The nubs make them easy to grab and hold onto. They are the perfect size for her and are a consistent favorite.
He loves them, but they're LEAKING!
By Velocimomma

I got these for my little boy for his first Christmas. He LOVES these balls ... he grasps them, rolls them, even throws them! But only two weeks in, the red one (his favorite of the four) suddenly deflated. I checked, and found a small pinhole leak at the base of one of the stubbies.Under normal circumstances, I would recommend these to a friend - but given the lack of durability ... I'd have to say no way.
Great product!

I purchased the sensory balls for my 8 month old son (partly because the Montessori method encourages them-- but even if you aren't a proponent of Montessori, you & your baby will likely love them). The balls have great texture and I love that they come in different colors. My baby enjoys them greatly, especially the texture.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my 1 year old grandson and he can easily hold on to the balls without them slipping from his hands

Bought these for my granddaughter who is at the stage of grabbing everthing. She loves the feel of the balls.
Great simple toy

My 10 month old first liked just carrying them around. Now he throws them and likes to just feel the bumpy texture. The balls have some bounce, so he enjoys that too.The ball picks up lint, so needs to be rinsed off occasionally.
Great balls

Our boy loves to throw them. Opps, they are a little hard if thrown at something that would fall over. The box is great! He love to toss into the holes and it makes good storage. Idea-maybe you could make a sturdier target box - I'm sure this will eventually wear out.

My daughter loves these!

My daughter loves these balls. She carries them all around the house saying, "Ball, ball, ball." She also gives her dad and me "massages" with them. I really like the sensory component.

Basic Balls
By Mom of 2

The balls are basic which is nice but do not hold my child's attention. I bought these to teach her to roll the ball back and forth with me so they work for that reason. I haven't tried them for massage; I will look into this.

An awesome toy for growing toddlers!!

The textured balls allow the child to grasp them easily and it is much more simple for toddles to toss them as you play "catch". I will probably purchase some for our church toddler/preschool room.
