Me and my wife absolutely loved this costume. We purchased it for our 17mo old, it was his first Halloween, and he seemed to enjoy wearing it. Everyone around him seem to find the costume adorable and very cute so it was an attention grabber. The only draw back (no biggie)we had with it was the head piece seemed too big because it would fall forward a lot abstructing my sons vision, we used a safety pin to tighten it a bit from the back and that solved the problem.Also the part that cover the feet are more for around the house not made to walk outside, the bottom isn't hard, more soft like a sock. Overall we were very pleased.

Absolutely loved these costumes when I found them for my twins. However when you place your order you can order in various sizes (I ordered the 12-18 month) and when I received the costumes the bags they arrived in said 6months-2 years of age. And my 16 month old twins are swimming in the costumes. (and their both over 24 pounds) kind of disappointed for how much we spent and we had them custom embroidered (so no returns).

My parents got this for my son for his first Halloween. Everyone at every home said we had the best costume. It is so cute he wore it the next Halloween as well, even if it was a little short and snug he was still very cute! The only issue we had was the head piece kept covering his eyes but it was a great costume regardless.

Everyone who saw my daughter thought she looked so cute. We even had strangers taking her picture when we were out on Halloween night. Plus I had to exchange it for a better size and One Step Ahead made that very simple.

This costume was perfect for my little guy. He could easily crawl around in it and it kept him very warm. He wouldn't keep the hat on, but that's not the costume's fault! It is so cute. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and very happy to find it from One Step Ahead at half the price as most other places!

This costume was too cute, and everyone who saw him giggled over how adorable it was! My 1 year old fit well in the 6 to 12 month size. It also stood up well through 2 wash cycles. The only downside is that the monster head kept slipping over his eyes, but we were able to pin it back safely.

I got this 'lil monster' costume for my 5 month old baby. The body fit very well the hat(monster's head) was a bit bigger I kept falling down but nothing a little safety pin did not help and then I had one happy 'Lil' Monster' for Halloween. It's made of very good and is always extremely warm. The bright and bold colors were just perfect for my little monster.
Highly recommend. :))

Also it is in 3 parts the hat, the suite, and then the booties which made it more easy to put on. :)

Great costume! The fit was perfect, looked just like the picture, and was great quality. Plenty of room for fleece pants and shirt underneath to stay warm. I would definitely recommend this! Awesome company to work with as well, will buy again!

This has got to be one of the best & cutest costumes that I have seen for little ones :o) We got so many compliments on this costume. This costume is lightly lined so if the weather is nice on Halloween your baby could wear just a diaper under it and be comfortable & not itchy. The weather was cool but nice on Halloween where we live this year & my son was warm enough & comfortable in this. I had to pull the hood up a couple of times but mostly because my son had pulled it down over his eyes & not because it fell down. Well worth the money, even more worth it if you buy it on sale during the off season & just stick it back in the closet until Halloween like I did ;o)

Oh & just a side note, my son was 8 & a half months on Halloween wearing a 6-12 month costume. While holding him we were constatly pulling the legs of the costume down so that they would cover. Standing up the legs were just long enough, so I would suggest possibly buying a size bigger unless your little one is small for his age. I'm not going to bash the costume for short legs though, because I have found in the past that most baby costumes are like this since they make them to fit such a large range on the age groups (6 month stretches, ex: 6-12, 12-18, etc...)

The blue monster costume looked so adorable on my 7 month old. Everyone who saw him loved it! The quality of the costume is good, but I do not believe it is worth the full asking price (I purchased it on sale). As others have mentioned, the head piece is way too big. My son's head circumference is in the 80th percentile, so I was hoping it would fit alright, but alas, it was huge. It fell forward over his eyes constantly, even though I attempted to hold some fabric back with a hair clip. This really is a flaw that should be fixed. I bought the 6-12 month size. The body fit fine, but the legs were short and his calves showed...not a big deal. With a few tweaks to the fit and a slightly lower asking price, this constume could be five stars.
