No more dumped dishes and bowls (really)! If you've yet to find a suction bowl that can withstand your super-baby, try this. Our triple-suction dish holder has a remarkable grip, so even the wiliest toddlers can't tug it off the table. And it works with any smooth-bottomed baby or toddler bowl or dish, securing to any surface. Removes easily, but only by you!

I think my older kids like to play with it more and see who can remove it. :)
Not strong enough
By Wa Mom
About Me First Time Parent
The suction cup design isn't strong enough. A small child/ toddler can easily remove the dish off of the system. Will try again with plastic small plate.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Merchant response: Thank you for your feedback. Please double check the bottom of the plates you use to make sure they are flat. Please contact our Customer Care Center if we can assist you further.

CAN'T FIND A DISH THAT WILL WORK
About Me Grandparent
I can't find a dish that will work with the holder. It recommends stoneware, ceramic or china. Why would you let a baby come in contact with these types of material? If anyone knows of a dish or bowl that works on this item please comment.
Merchant response: Thank you for your review. It also secures to plastic as long as the bottom is flat. Please contact our Customer Care Center if you wish to return or exchange this item.

This dish holder is great! We use it every day. My son is 16 months old and I want him to get used eating from the real plate, but without me worrying that he would get bored and throw it on the floor. And it works great for that. I can now simply put a plate with the food in front of him, whether we are home or at a restaurant and not worry about him flipping it.

Finally! Something that works. I tried a few differt items before hitting on this one - suction bottom bowls, the incredibowl etc and this is the only thing that works and you can use you normal side plates etc. that are all microwave safe.

I'm totally the opposite of what your saying. I can't stand using those cheap chemical plastic plates with my kids and generally try to feed them off of our ceramic plates at home or when out. I actually got the lil diner survival kit and the baby diner for a gift and it has been great to us especially when at restaurants (which most use ceramic plates anyway), not sure what happended to you all?... but we are pretty happy.
Did not work how expected

Tried to use this to keep my toddler from picking up and dumping out the contents of his plate. However, children's plastic plates do not stick to the suction cup. This seems to only be able to be used with adult plates which you wouldn't place in front of an infant or toddler in the first place. Not worth it.
Merchant response: You should be able to use The Baby Diner Dish Holder with your child's dish as long as the dish has a smooth bottom. Plastic plates should work. You may have already tried this, but moisten the suction cups first to get a better grip. If you are still having problems, please contact our Customer Care Center and we would be happy to assist you further.
works at first

This worked a few times, though it is very hard to find a plate these days that is completely flat on the bottom. All the kids plates out there have raised writing on them on the bottom side where you stick this to, so we had to use our ceramic plates. It worked a few times, then stopped working. If there are any scratches in the highchair where you stick the suction cup, it will not stick either. Don't waste your money like we did. Would like to return it.
Merchant response: We apologize that this dish holder did not work for you. Please contact our Customer Care Center and we would be happy to assist you further.

Having tried other suction cup bowls I was pretty skeptical, but this thing really holds! Pretty cool idea, wonder why it hasn't been around till now? Anyway, thanks!
