Comments about Ajas Video Baby/child Safety Cpr Instructional Dvd:
The DVD does contain a lot of stats, when it could spend time more effectively covering the steps in CPR and choking manuevres. Like the video states, it is better than NOTHING, but I do feel it could have done a better job. I had to watch it a couple times to make sure I understood what to do for a small child just over 1 year old since there are different instructions for children under age 1 and ages 1 through 8. Overall, I'm glad I bought it because it's better than having no instruction at all, but I do think I need to attend a full CPR course to feel confident in my abilities to save a child.

Great DVD

Wasn't sure whether this DVD would help or hinder. I have never learned CPR in a formal environment and know i probably should - but have 2 kids and in the absence of attending a CPR course wanted to just get an idea/any useful tips that might make a difference if I was in an emergency situation. I was surprised by how much highly valuable information I came away with. The DVD never pretends to replace formal CPR training but from starting the DVD knowing nothing, I feel like after only one viewing I could be useful and make a difference in an emergency. The instructions were simple and clear. Very useful tool. All adult family members should watch this DVD. It contains enough information to save a life!

I found this video helpful. I am unable to spend the four hours in a class at this time because we have an infant so this was a great alternative to give me a bit of peace of mind.

This dvd was okay. Very basic steps. Not very long or extended info though. Not worth [$] in my op.

A good refresher for anyone taking care of young children. I had the grandparents and a new baby sister watch it for a refresher.
Does what it says

It does provide the information that it promises, but it seems a little rushed when it is presented.

About Me Advanced
I'm in the medical field and think this video is a must see for any parent or even non-parent. Don't get me wrong nothing beats taking a cpr/first aid course and getting certified. However most people don't do this and this video gives you enough info to do the basics in cpr. There is also a pamphlet that reminds you of what you learned from the video. Perfect to place on the refrigerator or by the phone. I've shown this video to the grandparents and hubby so they know what to do if I'm not around.
Not very useful

This DVD is a total waste. It has a lot of not useful statistics and then rushes over the actual instructional information. I would not recommend.
Perfect resource...very informative!

For years, I have thought about taking a CPR class, but couldn't find a class that would fit around my travel schedule and then felt guilty about not making time. I was certified in CPR years ago, but not sure I would remember what to do in an emergency. This video was perfect! A 15-minute refresher that I watched while feeding my daughter. I plan to watch a couple more times and have already sent links to my friends for them to consider for their children.
