My son recognizes the call of the cardinal and chickadee from these toys. He loves to pretend about baby birds and was trilled when we gave him this as a present. He was excited to have a nest for his birds. He loves to put them in the nest at nighttime. The chickadee is his favorite, so he often sleeps with it.

Got a set of these for each of our three granddaughters. I love the fact that they come with a soft nest. I'm sure they will be a big hit! True to life sounds.

I purchased the first set for my 3 year old granddaughter, because of her interest in my Sun Conure. Since receiving these, she is very observant and is able to identify many different birds by sight or song. Her parents put a bird feeder & hummingbird feeder up by the kitchen window and now she tells me about the humming birds, goldfinches and chickadees that visit. This is a wonderfully made toy and so instructive at the same time. A best buy.

We gave this to my daughter on her first birthday and she loves it! It is really cute. It is nice that it comes with a nest because it is easy to keep all the birds in one place . Otherwise I know I would be constantly searching for one of the birds! The chirping the birds make is the actual chirp that particular bird makes. The sound quality is great. I highly recommend this product!

This bird set is wonderful because it is educational and fun for our son and us. Now when we go for walks we recognize the sounds without seeing the birds. Our son loves the nest it comes with!

My 22 mo. old granddaughter LOVES these birds - she has been interested in the birds at my feeder for a long time and was thrilled on Easter when I gave her the set of birds. She kisses them, hugs them and must have them with her in bed. She knows them as the Robin, the red bird and the yellow bird. Wonderful gift!!!

We used these birds in our dramatic play area at preschool. The children love them, and they have been a great addition to our three week bird theme.

my 2 yr old son loves birds. we found these in the catalog and got them for him for Christmas. he LOVES them. they make the real bird sounds and he tries to sound like them. he takes them everywhere and points out birds that look like his. so glad we found them! plan to get another set real soon!!!

The birds were a hit at Christmas time. We carefully placed them in the lower branches of the tree and let our little grandson enjoy finding them and pressing the buttons to hear their cheery songs.

This is a very cute set that is representative of real birds in our yard. Each bird makes a unique call that is a real recording of the bird it represents. I bought this for my 3 year old daughter who loves animals. I chose set 1 since the birds actually live locally and figured we could talk about them in relation to what is outside.With some research I was able to find other sites where these birds are sold individually. I actually found that the manufacturer makes MANY kinds of birds. So if you want to expand on this set or only want one of these birds and don't want to pay for the set, I suggest that you do a bit of research.We did find that all 3 birds do not fit well all together in the nest. This could have been an irregularity with the nest we received, however. [...] While this is very cute and my daughter was very happy getting it, I am not sure the cost matches the product. I think an alternate option could be a bird family of the same kind of bird species rather than 3 kinds of birds sharing the same nest to reinforce animal family play.

My three year old grandson loves birds. When he opend this present, he identified the birds right away and was so excited to hear their calls. A toy with sound that is not annoying!!!

My little granddaughter and I have a thing for watching birds and other wonders of nature together. From the time she was very small we would stroll outside together to see what we could find. I knew that as soon as she saw these "Boowds" she would love them. I was SO right! They are beautiful, come with little descriptive cards and sing like real birds. She loves them and she is not quite 2 yrs old.
