This is our second one, used the first all of the time but the plastic started to break from keeping it outside all of the time - it is easy to take in and out so this one I am only keeping outside when the kids are playing in the driveway. The sun made the plastic on the first one brittle and it started to crack and fall apart so the net wouldn't retract any more - my neighbors also bought these nets because of the speeding cars in our neighborhood

We have had this driveway gate for two years now and we LOVE IT...we have a hilly driveway and it's saved the kids, bikes and balls many times! Always get questions from other parents as to where i got it!

This works great to keep my child in the driveway when playing with outside toys. It stops balls from rolling across the street, and keeps my child from going into the street.

We have this gate installed so that it can block our driveway and also strecth across the length of a bush to double as a sidewalk blocker on the other side. So there is no possible way now that our little ones can run out onto the road freely in front of our house. The gate slows them down so we as parents can grab them before an accidents could occur. Thanks! This is great and much cheaper than installing those expensive driveway gates.

I use it at my garage to keep ping pong balls from rolling down the driveway when my 5 and 7 year old play. It works most of the time. And it's a good boundry for kids who are old enough to acknowledge it...won't keep a kid from going through it if they want to. The net pulls down very easily. Buts works for what I needed it for.

Our driveway is 25' so we have to open it all the way and it isn't as tight as we'd like it to be since it has to be pulled all out to put in the holder. But it does the job and was very easy to install. We just wish it was tighter and didn't sag.

Now I can be outside and not worry about the kids riding off the driveway on their bikes or walking after a ball etc as our driveway has a slight downhill grade to the road. Not that I would leave my 1, 3, and 5 year old out alone but at least now I can pull weeds, water the garden etc even while they play anywhere in the yard. Previously I had to "stand guard" at the end of the driveway. I wish it had some sort of clip or strap to lock it in place so my 16 month old wouldn't try to lift it out of place. Otherwise love it.

Helps keep my toddler where she and her playmates should be. They run so fast and this gives added protection.

I received my driveway guard and installed it immediately. It did take a while to dig in the spikes but other than that, installation was very easy. Clearly, it's not a fail proof barrier but for toddlers who are just learning boundaries, it's a great visual and physical tool to keep them from running into the street.

The driveway screen is just that...a screen. It is a visual barrier only. I must say that it has worked though. My Child Care children see it and stop or turn around but balls roll under it and toddlers can crawl under it. It is flimsy so if a child crashes into on a bike it may tear or break but noone's crashed yet. Also, the spring that retracts the screen is weak and proper retraction is difficult.

it is a great idea and may be better/more useful when we have a handyman install it, but right now the product is not all that helpful- it falls over, is insecure, does not help in the ways it was intended to help

This is so nice to have when my daughter has friends over and they are riding their cars and playing in the driveway! I don't have to worry about them going near the road and I also don't have to worry about cars coming up my driveway and not seeing them.

It has been wonderful not having to chase the balls across the street! Or worry that the downhill slope of our driveway is going to send my daughters into the street on their bikes. All of our neighbors have been asking us about it!
