Love the outfit but would recommend buying a larger size. I bought a size 4-6 for my 4yr.old and it just fit him. He wore sweat pants/shirt(not bulky) under it for trick or treating and by the end of the night the seams were pulled apart in the back. My son is 42" tall and only 36 pounds. We also got the boots, the bottem edge frays easily from the street and it was too warm for the gloves but they were very nice.

This is a well made costume that was unique and fun for our 5 YO son to wear for Halloween but to also use for dress up play. We were very pleased with this item.

My 4 year old loves anything to do with space. He even has an imaginary space ship that he parks in the front yard of our house! For Halloween this year, I thought I would surprise him with this astronaut costume - it was a big hit. He immediately put on the costume and was beaming....he can't wait for halloween. I thought it was expensive...and I WISH I could have afforded to buy the helmet too...but I am glad I purchased it.

I really like this costume. Very cute, very comfortable. The fabric is thin, so be careful what your child wears under it. Also, it is slightly small. My son is between a 4 and 5 and I orderd a 4-6. It fits him perfectly now. If in doubt, go a size up.

My grandson is a very imaginative 3 1/2 year old who takes on the characters of the costumes he wears. He believes he will be on the moon when he is wearing this costume.

My just-turned four-year-old son had a very strong emerging interest in space at Halloween last year, so we decided to spend the money to get him the white astronaut uniform. Let me tell you how worthwhile it was! From the day he got it until about March of this year, he wore it practically every day except wash day. The authentic-looking nature of it really encouraged his imaginative play, as we poured over every 4-10-year-old space book we could find and acted out different Apollo/shuttle missions.

He only retired the outfit when regrettably it began to fray around the backside hem this spring, leaving it unfixable due to him wearing it so much. We did have the velcro fixed once at a local dry-cleaning shop when it began to come apart.

Another pro of this dress up outfit is that it encouraged my son to self-dress, learning zippers and how to dress in a jumpsuit.

We will be getting him the next size up this year as a birthday gift.

A highly recommended purchase!

I always want to buy a costume that can be used for play after Halloween. My grandson wanted to be an astronaut and this couldn't be more perfect! It arrived the end of Sept. and his mom let him try it on and cannot get him to take it off. I am hoping that it is decently made so that he can wear it for a year or two for play.
