We are just starting to give our baby more finger foods and this is great for fruits. Actually, we've only tried apples, but Addison LOVES it. It gives her autonomy, plus we can give her something healthy to try to chew on without risking choking. It does stain, but with a little scrubbing the stains come out. We haven't had it long enough to know if there are any problems with the durability. Wonderful idea. Wish I'd had it when she first started teething.

I had one of these 10 years ago for my daughter and loved it. No more chopping up apple into matchstick size pieces and she loved gnawing on the big pieces I'd tuck into the Baby Safe Feeder. I purchased this one as a gift.

I love the idea of this product but we have tried frozen fruit as well as fresh banana and apple, and have had no luck cleaning any of this out of the mesh bags. We decided to just use it for special occasions to entertain baby and use a new bag each time. But that's expensive!

It was easy for my 6 month old to hold, and the mesh bag was a good size for pieces of fruit. The parts come apart in a way that makes for easy clean up. I'm very pleased with the product and really like being able to give my son unprocessed, inexpensive health foods.

For mushy foods its great.. like bananas. I tried putting prunes in and it did not work. The netting is incredibly difficult to clean completely.
Besides for foods that get mushy it isn't really worth it as they can only really get the flavor but not the food. So I do not really use this and do not find it particularly useful.

now, we haven't had it long enough to really test for durability, but so far my 6month old loves this! it lets her feed herself and i don't have to worry about her eating off the corner of a teething biscuit or big chunk of fruit (she doesn't have teeth yet but she gnaws on everything like a baby beaver!) its working great for us cuz she loves to do things herself and this lets her feed herself and keeps her occupied too!!

This worked really great for my infant son when I fed him fresh fruit such as watermelon, cantaloupe, peaches, plums, and apples.

It's a great idea for infants just learning about food and great for teethers. My seven month old loves it, especially when I have a wedge of apple in it. It does get a bit messy though when fruit drips through the mesh so it's best used at home.

We make fresh fruit and vegetable juice daily. When I have leftovers I pour it into ice cube trays and freeze it. This gives me the perfect way to let my 10 month old daughter suck on them without her hands freezing. She loves to eat watermelon in it too, and I don't have to worry about seeds!

This is a great product. I always get nervous that the net is going to break and the baby will choke while he's chewing on it but so far it hasn't happened. I think it's a great invention and would recommend this to anybody wanting to start introducing solids to their baby.

This product is fantastic. I got it for my 5 month old daughter and she uses it daily with frozen fruit. She loves being able to feed herself and I love that she can't choke on any fruit. I love that she gets the nutrients from natural fruit. I pre-freeze cubes of whatever fruit is available and she has it daily. Fantatic. I wash the bag straight away by hand, they dry quickly. Get the extra ones though, helps to use them daily and they can stain.

I found this 9 years ago and will not live without it. It is my number 1 recommendation when new parents ask me for advice about starting babies on solid foods. It's even great for teething, just add frozen fruit. 1 of my favs!!!

This is great! My son is having terrible teething pain and he's still too young to chew solid foods so this is the best thing ever. I give him pieces of frozen food in his feeder and he loves it! Soothes his gums and he's eating healthy fruit at the same time. I'm amazed at how quickly he goes through a piece of fruit. The biggest benefit of all is my peace of mind knowing that he can't choke on the food he's eating through this feeder.

I think it is a great product. It helps my son eat his fruit. He loves it.
