It took me less than 5 minutes to put this together. Our 8 month old immediately crawled over to the "play board" and started to spin the phone and the dials. It gives me a greater sense of security knowing that I can go into the kitchen to get his bottle or food and that he is in a relatively safe spot. It does not take up much room and he can still crawl and lie down in it. It is sturdy enough for him to pull himself up to stand. We can sit in it with him too. The smooth edges are nicer than the other play yard gates as our little guy keeps trying to stand and I like that his little hands are not pressing against small grates. While his hands and feet do fit through the bars, he has not had any problems getting them stuck.

my twins love it.. they turned it into a tent.. they play in side under a sheet.. then they take a nap in it also..

I could not believe how easy this was to get together. I had it together myself while my one year old son watched in less than 10 minutes. He loves it! It is so much fun and he does not feel closed in at all. His playpen is now used as a giant toy box and THIS is his REAL play area!

I put this play yard in my living room as a barrier from my fireplace to the window, making a large play area for my son. I love it. It's bright and easy to assemble. He loves the music it plays and the other activities on the one panel. I like how portable it is as well. We plan to take it when we visit family.

My daughter and a good friend are sharing a babysitter at my daughter's house. Both women have 7-month old girls. When the girls were smaller,(and not crawling) they were no problem. Now they are like little grasshoppers. One is sitting and one is on the move. You find the one on the move and the other one is gone. My four-year old grandson says "put 'em in the cage". I bought the original and 3 extensions. Way too many for now. We all love it. Only problem is that it slides easily but we usually keep it against the couch or wall. I highly recommend this product. It is definitely great for creating a safe environment,

I placed the playzone in our family room. I can still do a lot of work while my stepson is playing inside it. its a big help even if i am cooking. He enjoyed it much as long as i filed it with more toys.

our 11-month old loves this playyard. I sometimes leave the door open when I am near and she likes to crawl in and out. We place the alphabet foam mat tiles, also from One Step Ahead, beneath it - easy to clean the floor. She loves the music features. Replacing the phone receiver (snapping back in place) has to be done by an adult, tho; I wish she could do it herself. More activities would be great. We have installed some of our own, which attach easily, so that's great.

Got it for son and wife to get relief from active baby. Why play pen's are so hard to find, is beyond me. I as a parent of 4 really needed a play pen, can't believe they aren't readily out there. I feel like I can breathe again! She loves it and actually crawls back in if she's free and I have the door swung open. I have the extensions, too. With the foam mats it creates a play room feel and seems less like a cage than some others I've seen. Love it!
