Great gate!! We have a wide staircase and had to use gate plus 4 extensions...it works perfectly. The gate is a little difficult to open because we are using so any extensions so there is not alot of bottom resistence when we pull up. But it is no biggie and definitely worth the money!!!

Both of my grandson's are very developmentaly delayed. I bought the configure gate for the daycare provider so she wouldn't have to worry about the boys getting into her kitchen or into the dinning area it works great.

We use this gate with one extension to block off the kitchen and hallway. We watch our grandson and this gate keeps him safe. The instructions were not so easy to figure out, but having read other reviews, we knew that when we bought it. We took the advice of other users and installed it in no time. The wall attachments are adjustable so if you have an older home with not so plumb walls, you can still install this gate. Creating the angles was the hardest part. So far it has held up well to the use of a 1.5, 5, 7 and 10 year old going through the gate constantly.

We bought 2 of these extensions and the gate itself for the bottom of our stairs. Our stairs are really strange in shape. This is the only gate we could find that would work, so despite the cost, we bought it. It fit our space and serves the purpose of safety for our 1 year old. We bought it at One Step Ahead [...] You have to break down the original gate to add extensions, which made the installation take longer. Seems a little wobbly, but not too bad. Our son climbs on it and shakes it, but it holds up. My main complaints are that the door is too narrow, it is a little time consuming to make sure the top and bottom latches line up to close it, and the cost. Two hundred dollars to close off the bottom of a staircase? Ouch. But, that being said, if you have an awkward area to fence off or block, this gate does the trick!

We use this product to create a safe zone around our TV area to prevent our crawler from pulling himself up on the TV. Now our son is two and it still comes in very useful to keep him out of big "no no" areas. I would continue using this product and I recommend it to any and all of my friends who ask about it. It's pricy but for us, WELL WORTH the money!

Used at bottom of fan stair case to enclose entire bottom of double-wide stairs. Also used around fireplace hearth to match the gate at the stairs - in place of the black finish hearth gate version. Excellent construction. Assembly was pretty easy once I figured out how the connections are made by removing one bar from each end to add extensions, then using those bars at the outside end of each extension. The wall attachment hardware is also sturdy and easy to attach to the gate, as well as being adjustable to any height in order to fit different size trim.

We had a hard time finding a product for a really wide area and this seemed to be the only thing available that had generally received good reviews. Now that we have set it up, it seems to work really well. It is sturdy (my 7 month old likes to use the gate to pull himself up to standing) and loks like it will last a long time. The only complaint I have is that the installation guide could be better .. it took us some time to figure out exactly what we were supposed to be doing but once we figured that out, installation was a breeze.

We have funny shaped stairs and had looked everywhere for a baby gate that would work. We had settled for "creating" our own. I was ecstatic when I found this one. It configures where we need it to be and - once I figured how to assemble it - actually works very easily.

The gate configures to different layouts which is nice. It seems to be one of the few choices in this type of gate so if you need it, you need it. However, the gate door operates poorly, it is way over-priced and installation was a bit tricky. But i guess all in all it does what it says its supposed to do. Keeps the kids safe.

We live in an apartment & couldnt find anything to block the entry to the kitchen dining room properly until I found this gate. we have a 2 yr old that we wanted to keep out of that area & he is over 3ft tall.

It was easy to set up and fit perfectly from 1 wall to another to block off the area. the swing door is perfect & easy to use. its also not so tall that i cant lift my leg over to step over if i need too.

This is exactly what we needed to keep our child away from the problematic areas of our house and still allow us to get some work done while keeping an eye on him. The only problem is that it is a bit of a chore to break it down when company comes over. Otherwise, it's great for a space that doesn't lend itself to an easy circle or square.

We installed this gate at the landing at the top of our stairs. It allows the gate to be on the landing and not directly across the top of the stairs. We are so pleased with it and it was the perfect solution for our family.

We have a lot of stairs in our home. Before my husband found this gate, we would have had to buy 4 gates. Since he discovered this one, its the only one we had to buy (because it blocks off two staircases at once, and we got free gates for the tops of the others). It's much more convenient than I thought it would be!!!
