I love this product. We did a lot of research and were torn on buying this as some reviews were not good. We love it. My 10 month old son loves it. It is a great size(big) and he can have many toys inside and still have room to move. This is great for us because we can go in too, but he can hold himself up with the walls instead of us always doing it. It has helped him stand and walk. The mesh is not sharp as I was worried it could cut his little fingers but it is smooth in between the holes. The door is easy to open once you get the hang of it.

This was great until my son hit 12 months. He now climbs it and picks it up and moves it around. Great if you don't have a little he man!

I am a grandmother who frequently babysits for my daughter's 11 month old baby so she can work. I purchased two of these, one for us and one for my daughter to use at her house. It is perfect for our needs and keeps baby safe when I can't be in the room to supervise her activity. My daugher works 12 hour shifts as a nurse so the days are long. Without this product, I would not get anything done at all. My only problem with it is that I have a hard time snapping it shut, and have to have my husband do it for me. Otherwise, I was surprised how light it is and how easily it is folded and stored away when the baby is not here. My daugher loves hers also and keeps her little dog in it while she is at work to avoid accidents around the house. With both of us having one, baby got used to being in it very easily. We have a new grandbaby due in May of this year, so more use will be found for it.

I put it up around our Christmas tree so our 13 month old couldn't touch the ornaments. It worked great. I put the gifts around the tree and she couldn't get to them either. It is sturdy enough where my 3 year old hung on it as well and it stayed in place. We will use it for a play pen to keep my little one in one area as well.

This was perfect for a few months, but my 11 month old daughter just started climbing it! Now I can't leave her alone to play, which was the reason I bought it in the first place. I wish I had bought the tacky one with the vertical slats that can't be climbed.

I bought this because I wanted a play area that was large, but also didn't stand out too much (asthetically) in our small living space. It definitely does the job. Pros: Large area, adjustable shape, able to transport, relatively affordable. Cons: Using the 2 panel extension it is still difficult to get a variety of shapes that stay sturdy, actually more gray than white, if panels aren't on at least a 120-degree angle they're pretty flimsy. Overall, this meets my expectations, but I am pretty sure that once she starts walking, my daughter will be able to knock over the side that is straighter. Therefore, unless you are able to make a shape that puts all of the hinges on an angle, consider putting some kind of furniture up against the straighter sides. Also, I used a foam tile padding on the floor with this and it is tough to match the square shapes of the foam tiles with the odd shape of this yard. Finally, I read things about this slipping, but the extension included non-slip foam pads that work VERY well (on hardwood at least) and I would strongly recommmend buying them to stick on the bottom to eliminate slipping/movement.

My sister loaned me one of these when we were visiting them this summer. Essential for a 6 month old+ who has started moving around and is not in the same place you left them when you put them down. You can fill it with their toys and it's like their own little haven where they can play safely. Now our daughter is 11 months and pulling herself up, it continues to be sturdy and keep her "contained". Really helpful and highly recommended. I brought the ABC padded play may floor that fits together like a puzzle which is great. Baby loves the colors and shapes and it saves your floor and gives a bit of a cushion too.

Great for confining my recently mobile son to a safe area, but allowing him to have more room and freedom than a play pen. It's also very portable!

This has been great. As grandparents of 8 the youngest one lives with us. He is 9 months old and was trying the furniture to walk. He is ,now, using this and he is safe and I do not have to child proof my house.

I can not heap enough praise on this gate. Lightweight, sturdy enough to take kids banging against it, flexible, works indoors and outside (metal and wood will not), and easy to setup, add or remove extensions, and carry.

We have an open layout in our house and we looked at a number of gate/playard sets. This one came recommended to us and we know why - it it very flexible. It can be used in an octagon setup, or also as a long gate which is how we use it - to block off parts of our living room and our stairs to make a large, safe, play area in our main floor. We have also reconfigured as needed and picked it up and taken with us on trips to the grandparents. Because it is plastic it also works outdoors great.

To add or remove extensions is very easy. We use with the two-piece extension kit. I spent all of 2 minutes reading the instructions - it is very simple to snap together.

The grid on the panels is sturdy and perfect for hanging toys along as well to entertain our daughter. It also contains our two-year old toddler friends when they come over for playdates - its very solid.

The height is perfect too - enough to keep her well in place, but exactly the right height that we can just step over if needed.

The grandparents have already bought a set too for their house, they were so impressed with ours.

I love it. It is big enough for my 9 month old to crawl around in, pull himself up on, and play with his toys with out feeling trapped. I now have piece of mind that I can take my eyes off of him for a second since I know he is safe. I also like the height of the walls, they are low enough that I can step over but he can't climb out. I did get the extension and that makes it a bit roomier for me to get in and play with him. It is a nice addition but not a necessity.
