These are wonderful for two reasons: first they keep curious hands safely away from medicine. Second, medicine is all located in one place. We also have the larger bin to store cleaning supplies. I wish the medicine container were a little bigger, won't hold larger than 4oz bottles.

We bought this entirely to put our TV remotes and cell phones in, so our 15 month old couldn't reprogram our TV anymore. It worked great! A few times, our son has knocked it off the table and it has busted open, but it still worked fine after that. I won't be surprised in a few months if he figures out how to open it though.

I think this is a great medicine holder! My son is 3.5 and he can get into all our baby gates (we also have an 8 mo old) and all the locks that one time kept him out ... except this one! Because you have to turn it counterclock wise to open - he hasn't figured it out! I make sure he isn't watching when I open it! The only thing that would have been nice is to have a handle on it!!

I bought this since we don't have medicine cabinets. I wanted some place to keep a few meds in a convenient location but out of reach. We don't take things daily so it works fine if you don't have a lot to store. Small bottles work best. If you do have a lot the bigger size (which I don't have) probably works better. Still I keep the medicine safe high on a shelf where my daughter can't get to it.

It works to keep meds away from my 2 year old, but the latch is a bit tricky. You have to find the sweet spot to get it to open.

This product is flimsy the latch and catch dont meet unless very carefully manipulated sometimes the lock releases suddenly. My toddler got a hold of it (under supervison) and shook it a few times and the whole box came apart. I have two of them. LOL Dont waste your money

We use this daily and it's wonderful! It's easy for an adult to get into, but there is no way my 3 year old or 10 month old could get into it if they ever came across it! We've had it for a year now with no problems!

I've owned 3 of the medicine containers for a few years and 2 of the household cleaner containers. I just ordered and received 2 more small medicine containers and 1 larger. HOWEVER,within 2 minutes of opening the box, my almost 4 year old son had opened the large medicine Smart Guard. I was so disappointed. It wasn't even a challenge for him. Thank goodness I saw him do this because now I know that I need to find something safer. A few weeks ago he got into our antibiotic ointment and it let us know that we need to lock EVERYTHING up. If you have a baby, this will work. But, once they are big enough to squeeze and turn a little bit, they may be able to open this.

My toddler just recently started climbing and I keep my meds that I take daily on my work desk up on a shelf and I knew it was only a matter of time since she had seen me taking them that she would want to try them so I bought this to keep her out of them, and also bought 2 large ones for my inlaws b/c they take a ton of medication plus 1 of them has diabetes so it keeps all of his needles and supplies in one as well. It has worked great so far, she has not tried to get into my stuff, but they keep their stuff within reach and sight of her so I knew they needed them soon! It is a great product and has kept her at bay with breaking into our medicines. :)

Got this after my toddler got into a child-resistant cap on some meds...it certainly works as stated. And since it's plain looking my toddler has no interest in it! My only complaint is that the lock sticks sometimes and I have small hands so it's hard to push in the lock and turn it and try to open the lid...the lid could use a handle or something. Don't try if you have arthritic hands!
