My 10 mo. old daughter's favorite toys were our remotes and phone, so we thought we would buy her one. This remote is close to the size of ours and has many different sounds and numbers in three languages. She has had it for a few weeks now, and it has not lost her interest.

My one and half year old grandchild kept taking our remote and would cry when we would not let her have it. So we bought this for her for Christmas. She loves it. She points the laser light at the tv. After a while, When the channels don't change, she moves on to something else. It has stopped the wrangling over our remote.

I thought my daughter would love this a whole lot more, because she's always trying to get to the "real" remote, but I think she's on to my ploy. She was really interested in this for about 5 minutes, but found her other presents to be far more interesting. Now she mostly uses it as a pretend phone. I am impressed by the durability and sound quality, and having all of the numbers in English, Spanish and French is awesome.

Our son is 14 months old. He's constantly taking the real remote, so we thought this would be a good option. He was initially interested, but quickly realized it wasn't the real deal. It looks more like a regular remote than others we'd seen, but since it wasn't forbidden, it didn't have much appeal. He does play with it for a few minutes at a time, but it doesn't keep his attention long. Although not many toys do, as he wants to be on the go. Our four year old uses it more. He likes to change the language and listen to the numbers in French and Spanish. A younger child or one who isn't as mobile might enjoy it more. It has nice sound effects, isn't too loud and is well made.

WE LOVE THIS!!! The best out there. It really looks like our actual remotes and satisfies our daughter's button pressing craze. Our neice, who is 5 months younger, is not fooled though, so it depends on the baby. Our daughter loves to play with this at home and on the road, which is great to have on hand.
