We use these at the end of the day once regular shoes and socks have come off. They are way too thick for us to use with shoes (although perhaps that might come in handy if we go up a size in shoes a bit sooner than necessary). They are comfortable, and the new grips on the bottom do seem to be pretty effective at preventing crazy spills. They are loose through the ankles, so they tend fall down and not stay pulled up on the legs - these aren't a replacement for babylegs, if that's what you might be thinking. Because they have a lot of extra fabric around the ankles when they get slouched down, they also tend to draw my 18 month old's attention... and when that happens, they get pulled off. It's the extra fabric that seems to be the difference because he doesn't really ever try to take his other socks off.

We like these best when worn with pants because our son doesn't see the slouching. Other than our son's reaction to the baggy fit around the ankles, we are happy with them. For what it's worth, I don't think they'd be as cozy if they were made any other way - so it's not really so much a problem with the product as it is just a warning about a toddler's natural reaction.

We have hardwood floors at home and with fall and winter here, I wanted something to keep my 17 month's feet warm. Additionally, I wanted something that she could wear inside and not slip (like socks)...she's a runner and would stay on...these do...they are like elastic knee socks on her. We also wanted them to be able to be worn outside with her rain and snow boots...they do this too. At first thought they were a little pricey, but ordered anyway and SO GLAD I did. They are everything I hoped they would be. They wash fantastic (we have 2 pair).

These are great for winter.....for playing outside in the cold as well as indoor playing since they have the grippers on the bottom (which many other fleece socks don't!)...must have for cold weather climates

Yes, these are cute and warm, but after my grandchildren wore them only TWO times, we started to find little spongy dots all over the floor. It took several hard falls before we realized the little grippy dots on the bottom were coming off and the babies were slipping and falling down because of that. I would have given no stars as a rating, but there didn't seem to be that option.

These look soft and cozy, and I'm sure they would be if they actually stayed on my 2-year-old's busy little feet. They were halfway off of him within just a few minutes of him running around the house in them. I know he didn't pull them off because I watched the entire time.

These long sock-like things are great for walks when it's chilly outside and my little girl wants to keep sticking her leg out from under her blanket. However, the elastic band at the top doesn't expand enough and they're a little difficult to put on chubby little legs, or over pants.

These socks are super soft and have lots of little grippers on the sole. A must when you have hard wood floors! Stitching is very strong. I think these will last a long time!

My 1 year old pulls off his regular socks almost immediately, but these he keeps on and i like the gripper bottoms so he doesnt slide on the kitchen tile.

My 10 month old has chubby legs and ankles, so these socks were a hit. And the improved ones this year have grippers on the feet which is a huge plus. They also included elastic around the top of the sock which makes them stay on much better. I love these socks. I bought (4) 2 5-6 & 2 7-8, the 5-6 will probably fit for another 3 months.
