was sized much too big. i bought a medium and it fit my head. Useless for my daughter and by the time it would fit her she will be too old to wear it. very thin material which can be good or bad depending on what u r looking 4. i prefer one with a bit more weight to the fabric and a stiffer brim.

I had to buy medium size for my son since small was sold out. But it's still a very good hat. Very lightweight. In 90 degree weather it's the only hat my 18 month old will keep on.

I hope it works if the kids keep it on this summer - we used it for my 3 yr old birthday party at the zoo - she liked it but the 20 month old plays with it - I wet it to cool them and they both loved that!

I don't usually write reviews but I did want to share that this is the best sunhat out there for kids. My son has been using it since he was 1 year old (he's now 3+). He actually likes to wear it because it is so light and airy and effectively protects him from the sun's glare. Every other headgear (including his beloved fireman's helmet) he cannot tolerate for long. It's also machine washable. People often ask us where we got this because they want one too. I've started giving them as gifts. Don't get a size too big as it won't stay on as well. It's not the most stylish thing but it is so effective!

My son loves this hat. We have it in blue and purchased it in 2007. We have used it since. He loved it so much in the summer I thought he was going to insist wearing it in the winter. It fits well, stays on, covers all the areas needed, and is easy to get on. It's great! Now I need to get one for my daughter.
