I bought this hat 2 years ago for my son and have loved it...he has worn it for 3 summers, this being the last one. It was the only hat he would wear...thought he would wear it in the winter. I bought another in pink this summer for my daughter. It is not as well made and it is way too big for her even though it is a small. It fit my son, who is now 2. It does not cover his eyes, but I had to pull it back in order for that not to happen. I wish they had made one for babies since it is great protection, and also made it as they did in the past. But hopefully my daughter will get great use out of this one next summer.

We needed a hat to protect our little guy's head from the sun. He has fair skin and light hair and could burn instantly. With an spf hat made for water play at the beach and pool this was perfect for him. He likes to wear a baseball hat so with this style he kept it on at the beach.

Great sun coverage... too great. The visors shape doesn't have any forms so it blocks my duaghter's vision. Also, I got a small because that was what size she needed on the sizing chart (and should have had room to spare), but it barely fits. She really needed the next size up.

The material of these hats are good, but so good that the visor is permanently slanted down. I ordered one for my 4 year old and one for my 2 year old and they laughed at each other because they couldn't see one another. Very filmsy around the face.
