Worked okay on a younger sibling of the child for whom it was purchased. I received a size large as a gift for a 4 year old, but I had to donate it to my three year old, for whom it fits perfectly. He really enjoys it.

Bought one of each; 1 year old girl and 3 year old boy. The vest in the water rides up around the neck. It doesn't look comfortable and the velcro on the bottoms snags everything. Found out the hard way that a life jacket is the best purchase for this young age.

the straps on the side do not adjust so the suit was too big to use on my daughter who is tall for her age. i never bothered trying it because it will just floatup and into her face instead of keeping her afloat. I feel that by the time she would fit it properly she would be too old to be wearing it. I may change my mind when she is that size but for now i feel the design is lacking.

I got this because we've been potty training and I didn't want there to be any excuses to just "go" in the pool. I liked the two piece design for that reason. I've had flotation suits before for my children and LOVE them, but this one was disappointing. It rides up around my son's face, so he can't swim by himself. I must be supporting him. The straps that are supposed to keep it cinched down don't work at all. They are way too long so they don't keep anything down.

I purchased the MD/LG for my 5 year old that weighs 46 lbs. The sizing states fits up to 55 lbs. When we received the item, it was so small, I couldn't even fit the bottoms over my 5 year old's leg. I also have a 4 year old, and it didn't even fit her. Very disappointed with the sizing of this item.

My 5 year old learned to put his face in the water with the help of this product. He swam the whole length of the pool for 2 hours. It fits great, not too bulky like other trainers and goes on easy with the zipper in the back. Only thing I didn't like were the 'swim trunk' that came with the floatation vest. They were really skimpy. We chose to buy just regular swim drunks and he did great. Love the product.Gave me some freedom too. I was in the pool with him at all times but he didn't have to be attatched to my hip. He loved the independence and I did too.

Great product for a toddler with a love of water but not a lot of swimming ability. It gave my 2 year old just enough floatation to be able to splash around safely but let her work on her swimming skills as well.
