My daughter loves dogs, so we thought these would be great for her. She enjoyed playing with them, and we would squeeze all the water we could out of them after every use. After about 2 weeks of use, I noticed that the white dog's foot was discolored. I filled the sink with near-boiling water and soap, and then filled the dog 1/2 full. I shook vigorously, and I will not even try to describe the gross stuff that came out of those toys. Again, we did squeeze out all the water we could after every use, and none of my daughter's other squeezable toys have ever developed mold. These went right to the trash!!

My daughter is nearly three and she loves these little dogs. I wish the spots took a little longer to disappear. She doesn't seem to mind though.

My son LOVES these and loves to gnaw on them (he's teething). However, there's a small hole in the mouth that lets his saliva in. It's impossible to get the dogs completely dry inside so the wetness (whether tub water or saliva) sits there and gets all moldy and nasty. Then he chews and sucks on them and can suck out the junk. Once, when cleaning out a dog, I squirted it, and a lot of black goo spewed out...definitely not something I'd want my child ingesting. I'm telling my friends to avoid squirty toys until the baby has NO desire to chew on things.

Bought as a toy for my son. The spots have worn off, or don't really work, so now it is just another squirter toy, that doesn't really squirt. I gave an average rating because despite it not working as a bath toy, my son loves to chew on these dogs' faces and feel the air. It is kinda nasty though because then they fill with saliva. I know, TMI. I wouldn't buy again because they don't do what they say so you might as well go get some toys from the store where you get twice as many for half the price.

I bought these puppies for my 2-yr old. She jumped right in the bath the first time she saw them. She loves cleaning off the dirt spots and using them for squirting water. Bathtime IS fun again. I've not seen a bath product like this in the stores. I think they would make a great gift. BTW -- there are only 3 dogs included.

My 10 month old loves "takin' bathies" so I'm always looking for toys we can play with in the tub. We just received our doggies in the mail and she carries them everywhere with her and smiles and reaches for them when she sees them sitting around. Like every baby, she loves chewing on them (one plus is that they are squishy, not hard plastic). One disappointment was that ( probably a manufacturer change) the package only contains 3 dogs (the brown hot dog was not included-or I would have given product 5 stars because I really wanted that one:(). My daughter's birthday party is in July and I am thinking of purchasing a few sets and buying separate washcloths for each doggie and handing them out to the kids as favors. These would make a great birthday or baby shower gift, too!

We LOVE this set, and have had it for about 6 months. The "dirt" still works like it did the first day we used it, unlike some bath toys where it may fade. The only problem I had was that the washcloth is VERY small and went down my tub drain and got stuck once.

Bathtime is fun again! Our 2yo was screaming in protest at bathtime, but when I hauled these out, he had so much fun that the asked to take a bath the next morning, too! He carries them all over. They are great.

This is the greatest toy! You can make the spots disappear with the washcloth or even just a warm little finger. Woof woof!

Very cute tub set and I recommend these dirty dogs! The 4 dogs have "dirt" spots on them that disappear when exposed to warm water. Cute concept for bath time. My only complaint (and a very petty one) is that the dirt spots instantly reappear when you take the dogs out of the water. I guess the plastic doesn't hold the warmth of the water at all. My daughter (8 months) loves to chew on the dogs in her bath. I'm hoping she'll use the small green wash cloth to "wash" the dogs when she gets older. Very cute set.
