Sun Smarties Rubber Frame Sunglasses and Case

I bought these to replace a pair (that wasn't purchased from onestepahead.com) that are now too small. Within minutes, my son had popped one of the lenses out. The glasses are made of really flimsy "plastic" but it seems more like foam or something really flexible. These glasses are a choking hazard.

My 2yr old son has VERY sensitive eyes and wears sunglasses every day. These are very durable and easy for him to put on and take off. They are flexible and although he can be a bit rough on them, they hold up! My only complaint is that they run large. He has a fairly big head:) and they still slide down his nose and do not fit snugly to his head. He ends up pushing them up alot. However, he doesn't seem to mind and since they are so durable he will grow into them. If you're "on the fence" about sizes, go smaller.

These were great for my son. Very durable and comfortable. First pair he doesn't mind wearing. They seem pretty indestructable!

My two children used these for the first time this year. My 5 year old did great with his! My 2 year old loved that they were bendable. Unfortunately, she began to bend them for fun. The screws that join the eyepiece and the earpieces eventually cut out through the rubbery frame. These sunglasses are so durable in ordinary situations that I bought another pair for next year. My advice- don't show a young child that they bend and hopefully the child won't figure it out!

I was very disappointed that after 5 weeks of use, one of the lenses fell out and wouldn't stay in after that. I expected better quality from OSA.

Kids sunglasses are usually easily broken. These are wonderful! They are flexible so if they're dropped they survive virtually unscathed. My youngest daughter pulls the ear pieces apart when she puts them on and they don't break off. If they get smashed in a diaper bag, they survive intact. If the lenses pop out they can be popped back in. I just wish there were more colors available other than blue and pink!

My 2 year old can put these on by herself no problem! She loves being so independent and the flexible frames make it easy for her.

Vewry flexible and comftoable for my son to wear. He even went to nap time with them on one day.

My son has been wearing these glasses for years. They have been great. I don't know what happened but these glasses are not the same ones that Leaps and Bounds/One step ahead used to have. These are new just this year. They are not as good as the lenses come out too easily. In the past with the older model, the lenses would sometimes come out but that was after a lot of use/time. In this case the lenses popped out after only two times of my son wearing them and he didn't bend them or anything like that. I did pop the lense back in but am concerned that we have lost quality now with this new model. I still recommend them but with not as much enthusiasm. I will have to wait and see if they can last like the older model.

They fit pretty well. My two daughters (6 and 3) like them and have no complaints. Great quality (made in Taiwan)!

I was amazed at how flexible these glasses are. One pair has held up very well - the one for my 2 1/2 year old. My one year old popped out a lense after the second use. That was a bummer. I couldn't get the lense back in either - maybe there is a trick to it. Overall, I'm satisfied.

My oldest son developed vision issues at around six months of age. While he did not require corrective lenses immediately, we did need to do everything possible to protect his vision. We found these sunglasses shortly after and have been using them ever since. My oldest is now 3 1/2 and my little one is sixteen months. We have only needed to replace them when the boys grow out of them, never for damage. With two rambunctious little boys around, that says a lot to the quality of the product. My boys have kept them on their little faces since day one without complaint, so apparently they find them comfortable. LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!

These sunglasses actually stayed on most of the time without pinching the sides of my daughters head. First sunglasses she ASKED to wear! Still around even after she bent them and twisted them. I don't know if they are indestructable but so far have held up better than all others she had. Extra bonus they look cute too!

The first pair we received was not in original packaging and was broken. The screw at the temple had ripped through the rubber of the frame. I called, they told me to throw them out and they would send another pair so the return was very easy. The second pair arrived packaged as new. My 14 mo old son got a hold of them for about 1 minute and they were ripped again. These might be better suited to older kids. My son has regular hard plastic sunglasses that have held up so far..I just wanted something a little easier for him to put on without putting an eye out. He wasn't being rough at all...he bent the arms out a little which he should be able to do since they're rubber.

Love these glasses-they really do bend and not break!!!
