Sun Smarties Shades and Case

I found these on sale on the website. They are adorable. They fit my 5 month old and my 4 year old.

These glasses are great. I just wish the strap wasn't so long! They don't really stay put because of the strap. We use them only for bike riding because, his helmet helps to keep them from sliding down. It's a great idea for outdoor activities. They just need to improve the strap sizing and adjustability. I should mention that my 2yr old son has a fairly large head and they are still a little big for him.

Love the snug and comfortable fit

Our little guy really wears these well. We bought them in the infant size and toddler size for the future. Our only complaint (and why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5) is that the neoprene headband that holds on the glasses can't be made quite tight enough for our little guy. He's been wearing these for the past month and doesn't seem to mind when they slip a bit, but if the band could be tightened just a bit more, they'd be perfect.

As soon as I put these on, my 16 month old rips them off and says "boo-boo" ... I'm not sure if they are actually hurting him or just uncomfortable.

For my infant granddaughter

We used these on our 9 month old for our beach vacation. The velcro is not far enough around the strap in order to tighten them up to fit his head. They also sit too close to his eyes and require adjustment. They will stay in place... eventually. The shade is dark, which we really like.

These glasses are really cute. Great for a baby with the adjustable strap. The only problem I have experienced is with the strap. It needs to have a little more velcro area. My grandson is on the smaller side for his age and his head is probably not as big as the average 6 month old. The strap doesn't quite fit snug enough to keep the glasses from slipping. However, I'm sure he will grow into them very quickly. They are well constructed and should last.

I was so excited when I ordered these because it was supposed to fit infants 0-12. They were way too big for my 2 month old son (who dislikes going outside if it's too sunny). Once he grows into them, they'll be a great, useful product. The neoprene strap will definately keep them on his head.

Nearly two years ago, I bought my son the Wee Waves sunglasses from One Step Ahead. They were great, with a soft strap similar to these Sun Smarties glasses, but with a simpler velcro closure in back that was easy to adjust and easy to take off if they became uncomfortable. After unfortunately leaving the Wee Waves in the hot trunk, the neoprene wrap came apart at the edges so I had to get new glasses. By then, these Sun Smarties were the only soft wrap glasses I could find. They provide good sun protection for his eyes. My nearly-3-year-old son likes them, but the way the strap closes on the side through a ring makes them difficult to properly adjust to fit his face. Because of this, they sometimes end up drooping down on a car ride and frustrating him until he can pull them off over his head. A little design improvement would make these perfect.

My son wears the sunglasses without a fuss. He looks great, gets lots of compliments, and I feel I am protecting his eyes. Got the case to go with them so I can keep them in the car.

Great for child

My twin 15 month old and my 2.5 year old do not like the way they feel around their head. If I make it loose, it falls off, if I tighten them they get mad and pull on them. I thought these would be great and I even bribed my older son with a treat if he wore them and that didn't work.

They need to have more stripes to make smaller for the 2 yr old. I like the wide band.

I've never reviewed a product before, but I bought these sunglasses for my 23-month-old son and I just have to rave about them. My son won't keep glasses, hats, or anything else on his head for more than a few seconds, but he loves wearing these sunglasses. He actually asks to wear them. They're lightweight and flexible so they're really comfortable for him, which means he puts them on and leaves them on...no wanting them off/on/off/on etc when we're in the car or shopping at an outdoor mall. We've also gotten tons of compliments on how cute they are. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is that the hinges seem a little loose - - they havent come apart yet but I dont think they'll hold up all summer to a toddlers twisting and pulling. I will buy a new pair if they break though.
