The installation of these rails included applying a sticky, type of glue or adhesive to the crib rail. I was unaware of this when I ordered them, so unfortunately had to mail them back. I have a very expensive crib and I didn't want to apply an adhesive to the rails.

I wish I can click zero stars but, unfortunatly, the lowest I can click is a one star.

I followed the directions exactly. The product just is not sticky enough and it keeps coming up.

I called for and received a replacement. Same problem again!!!!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS HORRIBLE PRODUCT!!!.

I was so excited when I found this, as my 9 month old has done some serious chewing on her crib rail. I read all of the reviews, which said to make sure to follow directions to a T, which I did. The end of the strip will not stay down on one side and now has lifted almost half way down the strip - making it useless. It seems that the adhesive is not nearly as strong as it needs to be. This product ended up being a waste of my money and time.

I read the reviews and saw many people said it didn't stick well. I made sure I cleaned the crib rail with alcohol carefully and applied as directions stated. We have had no issues and it is still sticking just fine. My daughter bites on everything and is constantly chewing on it. We are very satisfied with the product.

This was the biggest waste of money. I followed every direction carefully, and even tried using the blow dryer to make it stick as suggested, and it still would not stick to my sons crib rail. DO NOT waste your money on this product!

It was a little tricky to apply, two people makes a difference, and did not stick that great at first but once it "set" it was bonded and has come in very helpful to our teething 11 month old!

We used this product on our 11 month old's crib. She was biting on the sides of her wooden crib, so we needed something to cover the wood. We followed the instructions carefully because I read that the gummy rail can come off. It worked great for a month or so, but it is now starting to peel off. I am very disappointed. I really wanted this to work! It may work if your child does not bite on the gummy railing.

look, if you follow the instructions you'll have no trouble. my daughter chewed on everything, not just her crib and we used this everywhere. my only complaint is myself for not finding it sooner. she would've gotten splinters was my fear in her mouth had we not found a way to prevent it and we did in this product. use rubbing alcohol to clean the surface WELL, don't worry it won't take off finish, and apply. don't tighten it as you apply just smooth it on. eventually b/c kids are SMART they will figure out how to remove it, but it kept my child from chewing on it for months and killed her desire to chew on her crib or any other wooden surface so in my opinion it was a COMPLETE success. you have to ask yourself, is it important to you to try something that will work if applied correctly until your child gives up on trying to figure it out or eventually does but they don't care about chewing anymore just the challenge, or risk a possible injury. i am giving a box to my expecting cousin b/c i believe in this product

I installed the product on both of my 11 month old twins' crib rails. It worked really well for my daughter (who didn't really chew her rail too much to start with). It has stayed in place and she chews on it all the time. On my sons crib, however, it was removed within a day. He peeled it right off. He had already chewed on the rail prior to applying the product, so perhaps this is why it didn't stick as well, even with cleaning it first and trying to re-heat the product. It's a shame, because he's the one I really bought it for. :( I am thinking of returning it (if I can find the time!).

It took us awhile to realize our son had been chewing away on his crib rails like a beaver, but once we did, we were very happy to find this product! We ended up ordering another one which I cut in half to mount on the side rails of his crib. He loves chewing on the gummy rail cover and now we don't have to worry about him damaging his convertible crib or ingesting stain or varnish! We haven't had any problems with him peeling it off, either.
