My fourth child took to gnawing on her crib rail--only one that did this. Went looking for a product and found this. It solved my problem of worrying about her getting splinters. She chews on the soft, gummy texture of the rail now. It was difficult to install as it comes rolled up which makes it difficult to lay on a flat surface. You MUST follow the installation instructions and use the alcohol prep advice. Also, have one small spot that didn't stick first time but hair dryer did the trick.

My son is ten months old and has nine teeth. He kept eating the wood on the crib rails so I thought this would be a good idea. It wasn't too hard to install but my son managed to get his teeth up under it within five minutes of the first time I put him in the crib with the Gummi Crib Rail. I was also a bit disappointed when I recieved the Gummi Crib Rail because only one strip comes in each order and last I checked all cribs have four sides. It should at least come with two strips for each of the longer rails. Over all this was just a big waist of money!

The teething rail that came on my sons crib cracked. I found this product and was really excited. He had been chewing on his crib rail for weeks. This product was too good to be true. The adheasive does not stay stuck. It only took three days for him to peel it off. I tried using a hair dryer to reinstall the gummi rail per the instructions, but it still will not stay. It was a big waste of money. I should have believed the reviews, but I figured I would try the product. Please do not waste your money too.

i should've bought it sooner! my son started chewing on the crib rail then he stopped for a while so i didn't get it. when he started again it was even worse. this is the perfect item for that.

It only took a few minutes to set up w/the help of Dad. I love it; I didn't realize how much wood my baby was eating off the crib until I was putting on the rail. This is great; the only thing that I can't figure out is how I'm supposed to clean it.

I thought this crib rail cover would solve our problems with my daughter chewing on her crib rail. I was finding her standing chewing on the rail with bits of paint in her mouth. This rail cover seemed like it would work great, however, as soon as she starting chewing on it - it started coming loose. I have followed the instructions to reapply it, but still everytime she chews on it it comes loose. I have now resorted to super-gluing it to her crib and am hoping it will stay attached. It's a great concept - just needs stronger adhesive I think.

I bought two of these for my son and they were useless. they did not stick and were to thin for the crib. He ate at the crib regsrdless so a total waste of money. Expecting the second hope they will fit the new crib will write a new review and let you know.

I bought 2 for my twins cribs and neither one will stick even after we followed the instructions exactly. I have to keep applying double stick tape to make them hold. Would have been great if tape was better.

Our second grandson is a chewer and a climber. This product provides a soft and very resistant surface to chew on, saving the wooden crib rail from disfigurement and his new teeth from possible damage. An added benefit is the almost tacky nature of the silicone surface. This has the added benefit of making it much more unlikely that he will be able to climb out of his crib any time soon. He was showing signs of being able slide over the slippery wooden crib rail but this product makes that extremely difficult. This was an unexpected but very desirable feature. It is also a plus that this product is very flexible and can conform to just about any shape a crib rail might have.

The installation of these rails included applying a sticky, type of glue or adhesive to the crib rail. I was unaware of this when I ordered them, so unfortunately had to mail them back. I have a very expensive crib and I didn't want to apply an adhesive to the rails.

I followed the directions exactly. The product just is not sticky enough and it keeps coming up.

I called for and received a replacement. Same problem again!!!!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS HORRIBLE PRODUCT!!!.

I was so excited when I found this, as my 9 month old has done some serious chewing on her crib rail. I read all of the reviews, which said to make sure to follow directions to a T, which I did. The end of the strip will not stay down on one side and now has lifted almost half way down the strip - making it useless. It seems that the adhesive is not nearly as strong as it needs to be. This product ended up being a waste of my money and time.

I read the reviews and saw many people said it didn't stick well. I made sure I cleaned the crib rail with alcohol carefully and applied as directions stated. We have had no issues and it is still sticking just fine. My daughter bites on everything and is constantly chewing on it. We are very satisfied with the product.
