This gate is great looking, easy to use, and was easy to install. Some of the gates out there are so ugly, but this one is simple and elegant (as elegant as a baby gate can be!). The only downside, to me, is that the gate is more of a dark brown color...I thought it was a black wrought-iron look that would match perfectly with our staircase. Either way, it's good-looking.

This gate blends in well and doesn't scream "baby!" like the traditional white gates. The mechanism is really easy to use one handed. Ours is hardware installed, I'm not sure how sturdy it would be pressure mounted. If large dogs are part of the reason you are getting a gate, this gate may not be tall enough for your purposes.

The first time I installed it and did not follow the instructions. The latch at the top did not meet and there fore the gate was very easy to open just by lifting. The second time we installed it we used the tool to tighten it and the gate now works correctly. However, grandparents and friends have a hard time figuring out to push the latch and lift the gate. Its easy to use once you get used to it. It also looks nice. Its obvious its a baby gate, but looks like it fits with the decor of the house a little better than the traditional wood or plain gates.

While the gate material is sturdy, the construction of how the gate locks could have been stronger. I have 3 of these gates and they all need to be readjusted after a little while. If you don't readjust them, they are easily opened w/ just one hand and one pull. It's disappointing that such a strong gate has such a wimpy locking mechanism that can easily be opened by my 2 year old if we don't double check if gates needs readjusting. Needs improvement.

This is a beautiful gate. I purchased 2 of them. 1 for each door way in our family room. Which by the way are 2 different widths. It's nice to have the option to adjust the width. You don't find that too often.The style suites our home decor. So much nicer than the white gates you find everywhere. Not only is it a wonderful addition for a family with children. I bought this gate primarily for our dog. Not only is it stylish and secure, it is tall enough for our new dog. Who is by the way 6 month, 50 pounds and still growing. I would highly recommend this gate. I agree with another review... the gate opening could be a bit wider. But overall I think it's great!

I use this to keep my daughter in and the dogs out on the back door. It is metal and works great in this environment. I can leave the back door open so the dogs look in and my daughter cannot work the latch on the gate.

I ordered two of these gates for the top of stairs. One was perfect, the other had a broken part. The replacement gate we received has a defective part...the part on the bottom that closes the gate automatically and KEEPS it closed. I'm disappointed that we have only had success with 1 out of 3 gates!
I put poor construction because of these problems; otherwise, we have liked these gates as well as any other gate, except this one is nicer looking.

We have very wide hallways and doorways and all of the gates I had from our old house did not fit in here. I was looking around and found this gate and loved it right away because it can be wall mounted or pressure mounted. I put this in the door way into my older kids playroom to keep the baby out. It works great, I taught my 4 yr old and my 7 yr old how to open and close the gate so they have access to their room. I loved it so much I bought another one for my kitchen. It keeps the little one out and looks stylish. I cannot vouch for the wall mounting, but the pressure mounting is easy to use and works very securely.

The gate was easy to install. And seems quite sturdy. THe only thing I don't care for is the actual door on the gate is small and makes me feel chubby.

Quick and mostly easy to install, though it would be nice if it came with an additional extension about half as wide as the narrowest one. We had some trouble figuring out what combo of extensions would make the gate fit without being too long or too short. Overall, though, we really lik it and its height makes it ideal for the bottom of the stairs.

This gate is great. My son is very tall and this gate keeps him from heading down the stairs. The only con I have is being pregnant with my second when I carry him down the stairs the entry way to the gate is not very wide.

We have three foster babies, two that are crawling, one that is just now walking. This is a must in our home. In fact we are thinking of purchasing another for the hallway. It was easy to assembly and attractive as well. We would recomment it to friends and family.

The installation video was super helpful! It was very easy to assemble and use. It was exactly what we were looking for. It keeps the toddler out of the kitchen and the dog out of the living room. Such a welcome change from the one we used to have to take down every time we went from room to room. So nice bc then it doesn't leave scuff marks on the wall!
