Bought this after hearing about so many accidents with children getting locked in, one lead to a death. It works great and seems sturdy to hold on to the machine. Overall happy with the product.

These look easy to install, but I had to reread the instructions multiple times to make sure I was understanding them correctly. There is a larger gap than I was expecting between the door and the lock. Also, the lock is a little hard to unlock. This is the only product I've seen, so I will continue to use it, but it is a little awkward to install.

My 18 month old loves to "help" with laundry and after reading an news story about a child trapped in a front loader, we felt that this lock was necessary in our house. It takes 2 hands to open or close the washer now (you can't do it with a toddler on your hip), but it's worth the trouble.

I put this on both my washer and dryer as a saftey precaution with my kids. It was super easy to install and use, the only issue I had was taking off the piece on it if your washer has a lip of more than a 1/4 inch. Had to have my hubby figure it out. Other than that, it is great!

We have loved these locks for our front load washer and dryer. It takes some getting used to because you have to unlock it every time you open the door to the washer and dryer. I got used to it quickly and with no problems. The peace of mind that my toddlers can't open the doors is great! Plus, they look like they came with the washer and dryer - they really do match! We recommend this product to anyone.

This product is of great use and works good. It is kind of a pain to have to unlock it each time to load and unload the laundry,but is worth it for my daughters safety. Also, don't locate the lock on the top side of the door because it makes it harder to work the lock.
