I got this to take on my son's first airplane trip. It did keep him entertained for a bit. He is only 17 months and he loved it, especially the page with balloons. My only concern was losing the pieces.

This book must have been designed by somebody without children. Many of the pages have activities involving felt pieces that velcro on and can be moved around the page. The problem is that they are not attached by string. Within the first day we had already lost one piece and went on to loose others. Also, the first time I opened the book to explore it before giving it to my child I pulled one of the pieces attached to an elastic band right out of the book. My 14 month old son finds the book entertaining and it is a good toy for places where he needs to stay quiet(hence two stars). Overall it is a poor product and I would recommend finding an alternative with the same idea but better execution.

I think of quiet activity time as "alone" time while settling down. The small, detachable parts in this book make it impossible to allow a small child to be unsupervised while playing with it.

It is perfect for Church. Zachary loves this book and will choose it himself for reading time.It has grown with his abilities. Now the counting and colors are just effortless as he is 2 3/4.

I have given this as a gift several times, and everyone seems to love it. The only complaint is that the pieces are small and removable so are easily lost or can be swallowed. Child must be supervised while playing with book which kind of defeats the purpose of the baby's "Quiet time Activity book".

It would be better if the items were more true to life size-bigger buckle, bigger snaps, bigger buttons. Wish it had shoes to lace instead of the piece of cheese to lace through. Little velcro pieces are easy to lose.

I purchased this book for my 1 year old grandson. It's bright and interesting, and he loves to pull the velcro'ed pieces loose. He also loves the 'mouse on a string', and the stretchy string of fish. I would not let him play with it unsupervised because of the small pieces that detach, (he still puts things in his mouth) but it makes an excellent toy under supervision when there is a need for quiet play, such as in church, or to wind down before a nap.

Perfect for keeping her busy during church and any other "quiet service". I was very happy with the quality of this item. A few pieces are velcro and not attached but I knew that from reading previous reviews. I am the adult and can make sure all pieces are inside before zipping it up. : ) Love it and plan on purchasing the other book too. Glad I did not personalize this item as it will certainly be used with our next child. Boy or Girl!!

We love the quite busy book. It keeps our daughter happy during times when we need some quiet distraction for her. I keep it in the diaper bag and only let her play with it when we are out. That keeps it new enough to hold her interest. Works great at church or going out to dinner. Just be sure to go behind them and pick up all the little pieces that they so love to pull out and throw on the floor!
