We loved this costume for out 16 month old for Halloween. My husband calls out daughter 'baby duck' as a pet name so we thought it only fitting that she be a duck this year. She thought she was the cat's meow when we put it on her the first time. She looked very cute in it and it was very unique and we received many comments and compliments on it.

This outfit was a huge hit. Everyone commented on how adorable it was. The only downside I encountered was some poor construction. One eye fell off so I had to sew it back on again and the tights have a lot of runs and holes after a couple of wearings, but I didn't expect it to be an heirloom piece. My 10-1/2 month old brought a lot of joy to people while wearing this costume.

The costume is so adorable! It's very plush and overall it's pretty good quality. The only problem was the size...my daughter is a small to average size baby and the leggings were too long and the hood was too small. I ended up cutting off the velcro strap on the hood and stitched an elastic band to it. Otherwise it's simply the cutest costume I could have gotten for my daughter's first Halloween...she was a hit everywhere she went!

Great texture and color for a little one--as soon as I got it out of the bag, my baby was trying to get to it. The only (slight) negative was the fit. The ankle straps on the feet were way too big. I ordered the 6-12 month size (for my avg 8 mo old girl) and the duck feet fit around my own ankles. It was a quick and easy fix to get them down to the right size. I initially thought the tights were too big, but the slightly loose fit in the legs makes the costume look right.

ADORABLE but the actual costume is NOT as described.
1) THERE IS NO "SNAP CROTCH FOR EASY DIAPER CHANGES". big time bummer!
2)the picture shows a lot of feathers on the top of the head piece. ours came with one tiny little yellow feather that you could BARELY see. when i went to touch it, the sole feather fell off! :-(
3)someone else commented that the head piece was too tight under the chin...IT IS! my daughter is only in the 25%ile for her head circumference and i could BARELY close the velcro under her chin (she is 17 mos and wears 6-12mos hats!!).
4) finally, the size is a little small for a costume meant to fit up to 24mos. the torso length was pretty short -- it BARELY reached over my daughter's shoulders (again, she is only the 25%ile for her height and weight).

The reason I chose this costume was because living in California, we never know if we will have a warm Halloween or a chilly one. I don't like those bulky pajama-like costumes because babies can't tell you when they feel overheated. This costume has nice short sleeves, so if it's cold you can put a long sleeve shirt underneath. The striped tights are made of quality material and will keep legs warm. I already had my 1 year old daughter photographed in her costume and she was comfortable and could move around freely. The duck foot covers are a bit awkward, but it's not a big deal. The only complaint is that the velcro under the chin for the headpiece and the velcro to close the back doesn't grip very well, but I'm just going to sew on a bigger piece of my own velcro. Overall...very pleased with costume and so is my little duckling!!!
