NFL Football Player with Helmet Costume

First time we washed it all letters came off. It is not true to size runs very small. Not happy at all.

The jersey and helmet are great! The only problem I had was with the personalization. I ordered a size 2-4 and the name came right on the middle of the jersey. Now there is no place to put the numbers. If ordered again I would skip the personalization and iron on letters yourself if desired.

I loved the costume my son did also. The only thing I would change is, if someone pays to get it personalized you should give them the option to have the numbers put on the back also. One of the numbers did not go on correctly but, I made it work with a portion of another number. This costume was exactly what my son wanted! I am so glad you guys had it!!

My son loves wearing his Seahawks uniform! He is an average sized 2 year old and the small fits perfectly. We had to return our first uniform because the name we had paid extra for came off the first time my son wore the outfit. We tried another personalized one, but the letters came off again without my son even playing in it! Overall, I am pleased with the purchase, but don't waste your money on personalization!

This costume is so cute and well-made. My husband was thrilled that we could pick the team. My son LOVED it.

This was a great Halloween costume for my son. The only problem I could see is the size of the pants. The description says it fits 7-10, but the pants were a perfect fit for my tall, thin 7 year-old. Not sure they would work for a older/larger child. The jersey and helmet seemed more true to size.

A fabulous, fun costume! Everyone in our town, Chicago, loved seeing a little "Bear" on Halloween. My son, who is 3, loved the costume and wore the helmet every day for weeks.Two slight cons- the sizing- the costume ran very small- definitely order a size up if you have a "bigger" kid. Also, the personalization on the back of the costume fell off after one short wearing. However, as mentioned below, the company handled that perfectly. The customer service from One Step Ahead was excellent- [...] when I had a problem with the personalization, I was refunded and sent new letters immediately. It is so great and unique to encounter such fabulous service from a catalog/online company!

Do not have this item personalized. Waste of money. It came right off.

I bought this as a Halloween costume for my 4-year-old son. Quality is good and the helmut is especially nice. My son loved picking out the numbers he wanted on his jersey -- nice touch.

My only complaint: I had the jersey personalized on the back. I would have liked the option of selecting a font because the one used isn't appropriate -- needed to be more of a block-style. Also, the corners of the letters are peeling up after only one wear and no washes.

This is a great costume. I regret paying extra for customization; most letters have already fallen off. All they did was place sticker letters on back, NOT iron-on or sewn in (as it should of been done). Helmet is very realistic, (a little too big for my 3 year old

My 2-yr old son didn't take the uniform off for three days after we received it. When I washed it the personalization (which was already peeling) came off completely. Other than that, I think this is a very durable costume. We ordered a second one (personalized again) for the Halloween parade at my son's school. He loves the uniform, and he doesn't care if it's personalized anyway.

THE PANTS TO THIS FOOTBALL UNIFORM COSTUME WHERE ENTIRELY TO SMALL, THE SIZE SAID 7-8YRS OLD AND MYY 5 YEAR OLD NEPHEW HAD TROUBLE FITTING THEM. THEY NEED TO INVEST IN BETTER QUALITY MATERIAL!

This costume is very cute! My son who is 3 was so excited as soon as it arrived! He wore it all night long and even to bed. Unfortunately, when he woke up in the morning some of the lettering on the back has started to peel away. I ended up taking it all off cause I could not fix the 2 letter's that were coming off. But other then that...very original and reasonably priced costume. It will be used for more then just Halloween!

I ordered this for my 2 year old for Halloween 2009.It looks great!! Sizing does run small because the SMALL (meant to fit a 4 year old)fits well. The helmet is the best part, looks like the real thing...I was very amazed. I DO NOT recommend paying additional to get lettering done on back;very poorly done/material. My son has not worn it once (just tried on) and already letters are peeling off. Otherwise, the costume itself is amazing.
