This was a very cute costume, but I found that it shed constantly and heavily. Since it was just a halloween costume, I didn't need it to last forever and I am sure it will make it thru multiple years, even with the shedding.

I purchased this costume for my 18 month old son for Halloween. It is definitely as cute as the picture shown on-line. He loved wearing it and many people came up to ask us where we had purchased it. It is soft and he appeared to be very comfortable in it. The only possible "con" about it is that I ordered a 2T-3T in hopes that we might get two Halloweens worth of wear out of it, but it was on the small side so I don't think that will happen. Overall I am delighted with the puppy costume.

My 28 month old daughter wore this for Halloween and she was SO adorable! I didn't have any problems with the shedding as others had mentioned and the size was actually very generous. She is average height for her age (35 inches) but on the slender side (28 pounds)and the size 2-3T was plenty big. She was the darling of the neighborhood and lots of Moms asked me where I had gotten such an adorable outfit. It's going to be hard to top that one next year. Loved it loved it loved it.

I bought my 17 month old 5 costumes and were not happy with any of them, so a friend found this one online for me. After reading ALL of the reviews, I was very worried about the fit. [...] It fit perfectly, a little long in the legs for my child, but I just hemmed it. My son wore this costume on three different occasions for hours on end, and had no problems with it at all. It did shed at first, but I just took it outside and shook all the loose fibers off it before wearing it, and that did the trick. We recieved SO many compliments on the costume, people were coming up to me asking me where I got it. After all the suffering of not being able to find the right costume for my little guy..this one was perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our son loved his puppy costume! He wore it while trick-or-treating and was super warm the whole evening (it was really cold that night). He got tons of compliments and loved petting himself, saying that he was soft. I followed other's suggestions and bought a larger size and was glad that I did, it's not going to fit him for very much longer.

I purchased this for my son as a Halloween costume. From the time I took it out of the box my son loved it. It is really soft and easy to put on. I had a hard time taking it off my son to save it for Halloween. I would buy 1 size bigger than you need. My son is usually 18-24 months but I purchased a 2T-3T based off other reviews and was glad I did. If I had not he would not have fit into it. The only other down side is I wish it had a zipper. But I would so recommend this!!!!!!!

It's Halloween - it's fun...if you get one laugh, then it's worth the [$] you spend for any costume. Furry Puppy looks more like a lamb - rather then a puppy - people said to us - "what a cute little lamb..." - the product picture looks more brownish - but Furry Puppy is very, very white - so it does look like a lamb. Nonetheless, my child looked funny - we got some laughs - she didn't know any better...then to me, it's worth it, this holiday is about dressing your kid up and taking that priceless black male photo - so if you have the opportunity - just do it - get a laugh! So you know, the product picture makes you think there is feet on the outfit - that is not the case - no feet... Also, the material for some reason sheds off a shiny thread all over what ever material it is rubbing against... My daughter isn't walking yet, so we pushed her on her bike for most of Halloween, but when she got fussy I carried her for the last bunch of houses and when I got home my jacket was covered with shiny threads from Furry Puppy... Most dogs shed right? - - this one does only on Halloween only... It's an OK costume - but we tossed it after Halloween (I know - wasteful...) - but anything it rubbed against - it left those shiny threads...it was getting everywhere...

This was a perfect Halloween costume for our dog lover. The only issue was that the costume was listed in the catalog as 12-24 months, but was marked 12-18 months when it arrived. It was almost too small, but was OK for the one night.

I ordered the largest size the website had which was a 12-24 month. My son is 13 months old and is average weight and 70th percentile on height for his age. I found the costume not long enough for the inseam. He would not fit in the costume if he wore any pants, even thin ones or pajamas, underneath. The inseam seems too small but the rest would have fit fine, even some room for growth. It wasn't worth the money or inconvenience to return since there wasn't another size to exchange for. We had fun wearing it around the house during Halloween but he would have not been able to wear it outside without some undergarments and even if he could I don't think he would have been comfortable long since it started to ride up his crotch once his diaper started to get wet. Costume would probably fit better if you have a child that doesn't need to wear a diaper. Otherwise, very soft and cute on. I would recommend if the inseam was more proportional to the rest of the measurements.
