Comments about Sassy On-The-Go Feeding Set:
Love it! I only wish that they would tell you about the different colors. I would NOT have picked the pink ones for my son but I got sent 2 out of 4. Now I have to figure out who to give them to since my son won't use them. He says they are for girls!
this wasn't a great buy and I'm glad I didn't spend too much on it. It's ok for dry snacks I guess but anything that had a liquid with it leaked out and was a mess.
Great for sending lunches to 'school' -- Can be used with the individual containers, or without -- since one lid fits over the entire container.
I would recommend this product, made by SASSY, to a friend, but its a little overpriced.
Love the options the containers give you to fit all kinds of snacks and foods. Perfect size. Only improvement I would make is to insulate it in order to send warm/cold meals and snacks.
These are perfect for daycare. I use them every day for my twins, and makes it really easy to pack their food. If I have something wet or sloshy, I will use the inner containers, but otherwise I just use the outer big container with the big lid. I sometimes will freeze extra veggies in the smaller inner containers, and then I can just pop them into the main compartment when it comes time to pack a lunch. They also have a good amount of space, unlike some other options, and the flat, rectangle shape is easy to pack and keep from tipping. They also have held up really well in the dishwasher.
It is a great product. It is perfect sizing and washes well too.
We bought one of these when looking at bento boxes for my toddler's lunches at daycare. The containers are too small. The largest one can't even hold a sandwich. The containers do not seal tightly, and therefore they leak when holding liquids or thin food (like applesauce). We no longer use it, it was a waste of money.
I have 2 children under 2 and I try to find products that help me be more organized. I purchased 2 of these and I have been using one of the large boxes with 4 small containers in it. I keep it in the diaper bag stocked with snacks. It keeps all the snacks together and I can easily carry a variety. The container are small but work well for snacks for my oldest child (21 months old). I pack raisins, freeze dried corn or peas, marshmallows, goldfish, and other small treats. I purchased some toddler graham sticks and noticed the serving size was 12 crackers. I counted how many fit in the small container and it held exactly 12. this helped me see what a good toddler serving is.
I use this on the days that my son doesnt like what being served at daycare. It makes it easier.
I got this because I was shopping for a Bento box for my toddler's meals at nursery school. The compartments are a good prompt for me to pack a variety of whole foods. There are two small and one large section-be aware that a whole sandwich will not fit in here. My son is a light eater so the portions are just right for him. I usually pack finger foods like peas, edamame and cheese, but I have also packed yogurt and used the spoon. I'm happy to report it does not leak.
I wanted something that I could use for dinners out and the lunch box to childcare. This is a great price for the convenience. It is very durable.
Very hard to open which means often contents are spilled when opening.
My 14-month-old daughter decided one day that she was done with baby food. This was a welcome decision that brought many of its own challenges--like what to do when I sent her to stay with "Papa" for the afternoon. I can "pack her lunch" and send what I know she'll eat prepared the way I know she'll eat it, and it stays in a condition that's still appetizing after the trip. (The large yellow compartment holds and protects her peanut butter sandwich perfectly!) The set is VERY versatile in that you can just use the single pieces as needed, or you can pack the whole kit. It's also a handy reference to portion sizes, which can be tricky for little people.
Compact enough to slip into a bag. I like that it has three containers inside with lids.
