The product definitely repelled mosquitoes. The wording on the arm band was cut too. ("Because mosquitoes suck") My only complaint is the clasp on the bracelet irritated my son's arm. Worth the money!!

We bought this because our doctor said we could not use bug spray yet on our 9 month old. We put it on her ankle like some of the other reviewers suggested. She keeps taking it off and putting it in her mouth. Sometimes if we are taking a walk we will attach it to her stroller where she can't reach it, but if you have a curious infant I wouldn't suggest using this product.

I really cannot tell if these work. We live next door to a wooded area and our mosquitoes are pretty bad...my son wears this and still gets bites, while my daughter does not. They smell very strong of citronella.

Mosquitos tend to be attracted to my son, more than myself or my daughter. The bands did not work for him. He started with one band and was getting bitten, so I had him put on the second band around his ankle. He continued to be bitten. I had high hopes for the wrist band.

These wristbands seem to be VERY small. My 3 year old is of average size/weight and they barely fit on her wrist-need to put on the last spot. It is a little uncomfortable for her to wear for long, irritates her wrist. They do not fit around her ankle at all. Seems to work OK. Very few bug bites when she wears it.

This year has been a particularly bad one for mosquitos because we've had a lot of rain. I had both of my daughters (ages 4 and 11) wear these bands and both got bitten multiple times within a short span of time. They would have gotten bit more without the bands but I don't think this product is as good as its touted to be. It's especially ineffective near the woods.

The bracelets are very easy to take off. My 19 month old and 3 years 9 month old will keep it on for a few minutes and than will start playing with it. So I can't really count on this product as I never know how long it will stay on. It would work for an infant, not a toddler.

I have been looking for something like this for a while now and im glad i found it here! my son is four and he is allergic to mosquitos AND the product deet thats in mosquito repellent. These bands are perfect!! I put one on his ankle on the 4th of July so he can watch the fire works. At the end of the night he didn't have ONE bite on him!! while a lot of the kids at the party got bit up. I also put it on my one year olds ankle and she never payed any attention to it! It smells kinda strong but its not a real bad smell. Nothing like raid or off. He also likes wearing it. Everyone tells him how cool he looks wearing it. Im ordering a couple dozen just to have them on hand. Its definitly worth the money!
