This is a great concept - but they fall off easily. If the window is opened forgetting they are in place they pop right off the window. Window Wedges work much better.

My 3 year old began figuring out my Velcro window stoppers/wedges and I had to get something that I could place high enough, so he couldn't reach them. Even tho' I placed them at the top of the horizontal sliding window they TOTALLY work. I also like that when I want to remove them to clean/move/done with this "stage" it will be no problem. I wish I would have known about these before I affixed velcro to the window sill that I need to remove with Goof-off and elbow grease.

Installed 1 on each of my daughter's bedroom windows. I am a very physically strong woman and have not been able to pop these stoppers off the windows even when pushing the window up very hard and fast. Again, I only have 1 on each window because I wasn't sure that they would work - but they do. Make sure to clean your windows well and allow the windows to dry before putting these on. Press hard and make sure you have a seal.

Don't waste your money on these. I bought a bunch of these and quite a few have broken. I don't know if the sun breaks down the rubber or what, but the stopper part breaks away from the suction part. I won't even bother mentioning that the suction doesn't work very well, either...

Find another way to secure your windows. The wedges that OSA sells work pretty well. Not perfect but pretty good.

I was a little worried that they wouldn't work - but they do! Obviously, they look neat to little eyes & hands - but I had to tell my boys that they're not allowed to touch them. (the ones that they can reach are behind the couch). I have big windows in the family room - and one works fine on each of them. I haven't been able to open these windows for fear that they could fall out to patio below (20+ft). I feel much more comfortable opening them 4" now. I put them in bedrooms, too. (For some reason the windows in new homes are much lower than the older homes.) Now I can air out their bedrooms without as much worry. Obviously, you still have to keep an eye on the little ones. They can be creative when they want to!

We live in a house that was built in 1915, with the original windows, these super stoppers are not wide enough for our windows. If you have old windows in your home in which the panes of glass are further apart than in newer windows, consider the window wedges as an alternative.

I've only had this product a little over a month, but it has stayed suctioned to the same spot on each window the entire time. Sometimes I forget it's there, when I go to open the window for some fresh air and it comes to a sudden halt. It's never budged...so I am confident my boys wouldn't be successful in dislodging it. This gives me some peace of mind.

These are too small for the sliding sash windows in my home, if you live in an older home with old windows that have a wide gap between the two panes of glass I'd recommend the window wedges instead, which are much better value for a pack of two anyway.

My toddler was always opening our glass shower doors and these work great. We keep one on the outside and one on the inside-problem solved. The only downfall is the inside one slips sometimes with the condensation. It has to be dry for it to work well.

Works good for double hung windows. Did not work on my mirrored closet doors due to the gap in door being too big. I like that the blue plastic stopper presses against the suction cup when in use - no slipping! I think a little pricy, but it works as advertised.

IMPORTANT: I recommend having at least 2 stoppers per window! I don't remember reading that recommendation anywhere so I only purchased 1 per window. After placing them on my son's bedroom windows I decided to order more so each window now has 2. I'm much happier with the results. One thing I also like about them is that they're portable. When we go on vacation, I take them with me and place on the windows of the room he's staying in. It's peace-of-mind. I'm pleased with the product.

We bought these to keep our 14 month old from sliding open the glass doors to our bookcase. They work great!! I am sure they would work great on windows too keep toddlers from opening them as well. They are easy to use and stay stuck. We have had NO problems with them coming off. We cleaned the glass with windex first and then applied windex to the suction cup. Still holding great!

I put this window stopper on my three-year old son's two windows in his bedroom; his bed is under the windows and I was worried (when I left them open) that he would be able to get them up higher and climb out. These worked OK for about the first few weeks but then they kept falling off the windows. I like the idea of them though - I just wish the suction cup held on tighter.
